Wormser + Associates Architects

I've worked directly with Mr. Wormser on several projects including a major design center showroom for a contract furniture client to a large furniture retailers headquarters to spearheading the design of several national furniture retail store chains. Each time I've worked with Mr. Wormser, he's not only stretched the collective imaginations to create something completely new and fresh, he's also seen that the project was delivered on time, on budget and beyond expectations! He's also a very humble, smart and interesting guy, so he's a pleasure to work with as well.

Peter Wormser is a great architect to work. He has a great eye, great ideas, and is a real problem solver. Unlike some architects, he knows about construction and is very helpful on detailed projects. He helped us gut renovate an 1850's five story Manhattan townhouse and did a fabulous job. I highly recommend him. He is also easy to work with - which is not something I can say about every architect!

We love working with Peter... I have learned so much from watching him work. He always a different perspective, fresh ideas and a clean, honest, comfortable home will be waiting for us in just a few months. Building is tough and you often need (extra hand holding) --- peter and Liz invited us into their lives while helping to build our dream house... it doesn't get much better than that! I will add that we did a total Lift/rebuild which had to conform to FEMA rules, along with all town permits and variances... no walk in the park, here, but he nailed it! The result: a 3 story, very cool! 3000 SF coastal home on just a 1/0 acre lot in a historic Westport, CT beach community.

As the co-chair at Wakeman Town Farm, an historic farm in Westport, CT, I have worked closely with Peter Wormser on a major renovation project. The project is to renovate the existing farmhouse (while respecting its historic integrity), while adding a new community classroom and commercial kitchen. From the minute Peter sketched his first rendering of the property to the day we received the final plans, we knew we were in excellent hands. Now that the construction is underway, Peter continues to work closely with our farm committee and construction team. Tonight, for example, he is taking his own time to go in front of our local Historic Commission to present his proposal and offer enhancements. He has visited our job site every week since the construction started and continues to work closely with our contractor. Peter is available to answer questions at any time. I cannot say enough about Peter Wormser and his respect for the process--including respecting design traditions, our budget, and a variety of sensitive environmental concerns. We could not be happier! A true pro.

We retained Peter Wormser for all the design and building of our property in Big Sur. It was an absolute pleasure to work with him on our family home. He showed not only creativity but a genuine desire to create a house and structures that worked for our family and blended in with the land and vernacular of the region. The house is very exposed to the elements and it has aged beautifully over the years withstanding the heaviest of winds and rains. The house is an absolute joy to live in and spend time with friends and family. The more time we spend time in our home, the more we love it.
