Because the house is in the process of being historically designated, I needed someone I could completely trust. Paul did an OUTSTANDING job. He worked fast and efficiently, and when we ran into challenges (like finding a spark arrestor that was period-appropriate), Paul came up with the perfect solution. The new hearth tile was handmade and costly so I was concerned about breakage, but not a single tile was damaged. The fireplace is beautiful and the hearth is stunning. In fact the biggest compliment is when people think the hearth is original. He took great care to protect the hardwood floors, furniture and walls, and the living room was cleaner when he left than when he arrived!
