“I'm a homeowner who found Dreamscapes on the internet and after a thorough search process, hired them to do major $500K+ project in Brentwood, CA. The project involved removal of existing pool, building new pool in hillside zone, new spa with water features, new bluestone hardscape throughout, new BBQ island with Viking appliance, two custom gas firepits, 12,000 feet of driveway, 340 linear feet of retaining walls, $75,000 worth of new plants, etc. Eric McRae and his team designed the entire project -- and did a world class job. They do a ton of work in-house and can control quality and scheduling as a result. Sub's they hired were all excellent, and worked until everything was perfect. Construction is always a process, and this was no exception, but the end result exceeded my expectations. Their masons are true craftsman who produce the highest possible product. Project took longer than planned, and some of that was my fault. They provided a clear contract with a detailed scope of work that was fairly priced and easily understood. All change orders were tracked, and i was very pleased with the billing process. I later upgraded materials and that ran up the price, but here were no upsells or hidden items. Make sure you have a complete scope of work before you begin. It's not free ... but I felt it was all fairly priced. But the quality of the work was extremely high -- and that's worth something.”

“As far as luxurious pools go, please check out this company! I was not at all disappointed with the great service my wife and I received. We found them to be very professional and were able to offer a lot of options to fit our particular budget. Whilst we are not ready to hire (will be in the next month or so), I'm certain we will be going forward with Waterworks Pool Concepts. I was also impressed with the prices for such high end pools. “I will definitely be using La Jolla Pools for my future client projects! I contacted Bart at La Jolla pools regarding some remodeling to my clients pool. He came out the same day to meet with me and went over every one of my concerns. A little back story to the condition of this pool before La Jolla Pools came into the picture.....This pool is suspended on caissons that go 50+ feet into the ground so you can walk underneath it. It has vanishing edges on both ends of the pool where the original builder put fiber optic lighting (no longer used or sold). The existing lighting did not work, even after the current pool guy replaced the unit (and charged $900 for it). Given the structure of the pool, boring holes in the vanishing edge walls seemed to be a tricky request. The pool plumbing was all messed up, half the jets in the hot tub were not even plumbed and if you didn't select the right features, the hot tub would drain into the tanks under the vanishing edges, flooding the area under the pool. To top that off, ALL of the plumbing was located under the deck with no more than a 3-4 foot crawl space. Bart was extremely knowledgeable about everything and was able to easily explain what needed to be done to correct the problems. I’m sure fixing someone else's mistakes is not what most contractors prefer to take on but La Jolla Pools was up for the challenge. Bart did not over sell anything or try to push any unnecessary additions on my client. He sent off the bid within a few days and had a start day within 2 weeks. My client signed the contract and was ready to begin. His workers were always on time, VERY professional and respectful. I had many questions throughout the project and they were very helpful with answering all the questions I had. The owner Bart regularly checked in with me to advise the status of how things were going and see if I had any questions. Bart estimated about 3 weeks to complete the project and finished it in 2 weeks. The pool was full and ready to be fired up on Monday after the weekend. My client was having guests in town that didn't expect to be able to use the pool because of the construction. Because we were running a week ahead of schedule and Monday they were going to finish, Bart offered to come over on Saturday morning to make sure everything was up and running so his guests could use the pool. The pool looks great & functions better than ever now! I could not be happier with how things turned out and DEFINITELY recommend using La Jolla Pools if you are doing a remodel or are building a new pool! Thank you again Bart, a job well done!”
