“My wife and I purchased a home on Lake Norman 14 years ago knowing that one day we would turn it into something special. Over the course of owning the home we did a few little projects like remodeled the pool, resurfaced the docks, added a screen porch, built an outdoor kitchen and bar, etc. When we finally got serious about doing our inside remodel we called Mike Shalvoy with Patrick Joseph Destinctive Homes. I meet Mike through a mutual friend that used Mike and his team to build their house. After meeting with Mike a couple times we felt like he understood our vision, goals and budget. Seven months later we couldn't be more happy with the results. We completely gutted the inside of our home down to the studs. We took out walls to open the floor plan, raised ceilings and created a huge kitchen and entertaining area. All new water lines, electrical, insulation, sheet rock, doors and the list goes on. We have a completely new home on the inside that looks amazing.”

“I was building a garage and needed a drawing for the county to approve my building permit. Steve was very helpful and understanding as I was trying to get things updated quickly to get the permit. Steve was able to make all the updates needed quickly and make it look exactly how I wanted for the county to approve the building permit. Very easy to work with, on time and within budget. Steve was fantastic, in fact I am planning on using him again for anther project I hope to put in later this fall or early next year.”

“Jenny Pippin of Pippin Home Designs can design anything. ...from huge homes to small ones. She listens to her clients, designs liveable homes and takes advantage of any and all views. She is highly capable, artistic and yet reasonable. She designed our home about 20 years ago and I wouldn't change a thing. It's on a sloping lot with only a small section that is flat for the house's footprint. It was a winner from plan to inception. I still love and live in every square foot.”

“We contracted Fernando to finish our modular home and make several improvements and upgrades. His timeliness, communications and ability to manage the various sub-contractors was excellent. I have been in the housing business for many years and I am honestly say he has been the most straightforward and easy general contractor to work with in my experience. “Jose was very professional, attentive, and knowledgeable when it came to our renovations. Nowadays is hard to trust someone with your home in your money, but he rose to the occasion I do have other projects that I would love for Jose to work on in the near future, and less what we plan on doing, I highly recommend him as a contractor. He has a great team behind him as well with the plumber and electrician.”

“I have used this company several times from 2012 through 2017. They have done extensive work for my homes including: installing an entire floor with new wood flooring, replacing/repainting siding on my townhouse, complete bathroom renovation, roof repair/inspection, painting, several small plumbing jobs, and some small electrical repairs/upgrades. I highly recommend this company as they have a very high integrity and conscientiousness towards every job they do, both large and small.”
