The existing front steps were closed in with an outdated garden strip so Green Roots Landscaping Inc. removed the strip, opened up the step area with a generous new patio step and patio stones and ran the open area along the driveway allowing for easier access to getting in or out of cars. The small and unsightly, even boring yard took on a new life. We now are the proud owners of a modern yard with grasses and love watching their movement in the wind! A planting of a witchhazel tree punctuates the garden and is uplighted to be admired by all that pass by. We love what Green Roots Landscaping Inc. have done with our front yard. “This entire project ran over the course of two summers. Phase 1 (2015) was the front entrance, sitting area, side path with a flat sitting area at the rear of the house. Project lasted 4 weeks and during the entire time all employees took extreme pride in their work. The project manager/Owner (Nico) took every opportunity to engage us in the progress of the project to ensure 100% satisfaction. Phase 2 (2016) project Manager (Nicholas) also took great pride in his work and collaborated constantly with us. The project lasted about 6 weeks and the end result was a rear sitting area with a stepped down intermediate area with a garden ( to avoid closing in the space with railings) which creates an extremely open atmosphere. Steps were created to all rear entrance areas continuing a constant flow. An added unique area is the BBQ section of the rear project which blends well with the rear sitting area created the year before. All this said we were extremely pleased with the outcome of all the hard work of both teams and their collaboration with us, Nico, Nicholas and their work crews were all eager to see our vision come to life. As a result of these two projects we have landscaping that enhances our home and we look forward to many hours enjoying our space. The workmanship and dedication to detail has passers-by inquiring, " who did this project" and we proudly proclaim "It was Dutch Green". We would highly recommend them to anyone.”
