“Working with Rachel has been a really rewarding experience. She helped me design and finish my walkout basement which was started in December of 2014. She helped finish off my basement with a bar, a drink station, bathroom, laundry room with open storage, a family room, rec room for kids and a two sitting areas one with a fireplace and the other in front of a wall of windows. Rachel has a great eye and is a great listener. My entire home is my dream home thanks to Rachel. Anytime spent with her is well worth it. “MainStreet Design Build is an extremely talented and professional firm. That's our kitchen in the Baldwin picture. Our craftsman style house was built in 1922. We love it for all of the woodwork and charm inside. We therefore needed a company that would respect and complement the historic style of our home, but update the kitchen with more space and ammenities for the way we function as a family today (kitchens were very small back in 1922!). We got all of that and more. We have incredible cabinetry with custom wood work and we love our eat in area. The kitchen totally flows with the rest of our home, but really is our crown jewel. We still "WOW" friends when they walk into the kitchen - it is absolutely beautiful and timeless and I wouldn't change a thing. MainStreet's incredible vision and their attention to detail are their greatest assets. From the beginning of the project until the end, the MainStreet staff was engaged and focused on us as the customer. We highly recommend MainStreet and would hire them again in a second - they truly are experts at what they do! ”

“Emery Design & Woodwork (Ryan and his team) did an outstanding job on our stairway remodel!!! We went from drab white spindles & boring carpet to fab rod iron spindles and solid hardwood stairs. :) They were very polite, timely, courteous, conscientious, and paid great attention to detail. They finished the project in the time they promised (major bonus!). If we had questions they took the time to make sure we were satisfied. Ryan was always available to answer our questions and hear our suggestions (and, believe me, we are very particular with our home!). Last minute changes weren't an issue for this team - they really wanted to make the customer happy (and they definitely did!). :) Bottom line - they were fabulous to work with and our stairway is now transformed into a lovely showcase!!! :) Thanks again, Ryan and team, you guys are true professionals!!! :)”

“Elizabeth has interior designed our former home and our current home including basement; to say we know her work would be an understatement. We hired Elizabeth mainly for her exquisite taste in design and colors included with that was an energy of excitement and the willingness to help us choose the perfect design and/or scheme for our home. (We interviewed 7 other Interior Designers before Elizabeth.) Always professional. Great ideas; showed us various styles for various rooms with specified colors and window treatments to match. Guesswork is taken away; meaning, we did not have to guess which style was going to work best in a particular room(s), we just had to pick the one we wanted. Overall, after 9 years in our current home, we still receive the highest of compliments from friends, guests and neighbors...a great feeling! Again, the scope of the work was for paint colors, window treatments and installation, furniture, accessories and space planning. Elizabeth does it all with great success!”

“My husband and I have followed Michael Klement, the Principal at Architectural Resource, at the Ann Arbor home shows and remodeling tours for years. We really loved Jen’s suggestions in terms of what she picked out for us, and she has an amazing eye for color. She put together the plan, ordered all of the materials (tile, mirrors, bath, fixtures, window treatments, etc.), then helped our builder make sure it was all installed the way we wanted.
