“I purchased 2 sets Craft-Bilt aluminum railings and feel they are the best on the market. They are all aluminum (no plastic parts), and unlike most others all bolts. screws, etc. are not visible on the finished product. I am a retail customer and installed the railings myself following their installation guide... and the folks at Craft-Bilt are very helpful. Great product at a very competitive price... better than the big box outlets.”

“Excellent job done by John at Mississauga Decks and Trim on my back porch and fence. He ripped out aging cedar deck and replaced with high quality wood. John helped with design and pattern for the wood. Now I am getting lots of compliments on the porch. He also extended a fence in the backyard. All work was completed on time and at a great price. Very pleased with cost and workmanship so I am highly recommending this company.”

“My name is Chris Graves, CEO of Joyful Builder Design Services. We build outdoor structures (pergolas, arbors, gazebos, etc.) and many times will receive a client request for a retractable awning or canopy. Since 2008, we have used ShadeFX products exclusively for our upper-end clients, with outstanding results. Steve Ostrowski, President of ShadeFX has consistently and repeatedly improved his product over the years, and every time we spec one out for a job, it is the most elegant application that could be placed. The awning systems are well worth the cost; rainproof, windproof, solid, sturdy, stable. Our clients are very happy, and therefore WE are also happy. :) His newest design, a top-mount system with polycarbonate sheeting, looks like it will overcome the snow-load issue prevalent in many Northern applications, and we have already ordered 12 of them. GREAT JOB, fellas, and we look forward to many more years of your amazing product!”

“We had our awning installed last year by Canadian Shade. Chris met with us at our home and went through all of the options available to us. He was very knowledgeable on the products and allowed us to weigh the pros and cons of the different systems available. Three weeks later, their crew came and installed the awning. They were very courteous and completed the job within a few hours. A few months later, we were having an issue with our wind sensor and thought it was broken. We called Canadian Shade and Chris was back the next day. As it turns out, it was just an issue with the battery which he replaced that day. No cost. No complaints. He was happy to help. Chris called us recently and asked us share our experience and we were more then happy to do so. Working with Canadian Shade has been a pleasure and we will definitely be keeping them in mind for any future backyard projects.”

“In the spring of 2012 we met with a few different deck building companies and discussed our ideas for our backyard. We asked each one of them to come back to us combining their expertise with what we had discussed with the balance of the plans we had for our yard. Hickory Dickory had totally paid attention to all of the details we had mentioned and came to us with a couple of designs. We were very impressed with the way each meeting was handled. Making changes and tweaking the drawings were never a problem and everything fell into place. There were no surprises everything was done exactly as planned and agreed upon. We made a few last minute changes without any issues. They have a great team of people that work together and do quality work. You can tell they love what they do and have pride in their work. We highly recommend them. We have had some friends build decks with them now and they also have had nothing but good things to say.”

“We were very happy to meet Jason and hire him to re-finish our deck. Our deck was constructed over 27 years ago. Rotting boards had been replaced and it had been re-stained many times; but Jason and his crew managed to make it look like it was almost new again. “We worked with Ross to build a two car garage on a small lot in mid town Toronto. Ross also was instrumental in helping us rework our backyard into a garden oasis. Our garage is extremely well built and has added to the qualitative and quantitative value of our home. Ross was professional, prompt and very respectful and responsive to our concerns. We really felt that his attitude and expertise made a major renovation much less stressful. I would recommend Ross and Benchmark Building Services Inc. without hesitation...and in fact, have done so numerous times. I would re-hire Ross for our next renovation or new build project.
