“My husband and I purchased a new home and we were struggling to understand what to do to make our kitchen both functional and beautiful. We reached out to Laura at Atelier 2181 and she responded that very day. She came to the house, took pictures and asked questions about our needs as well as how we though we would use the space. Soon after she sent us 2 great options. We chose from that, made small changes and started the process of building with a contractor. We can't believe how easy Laura made it. It seemed to us to be overwhelming and yet to Laura she took everything in stride. In record time and many emails and calls later we have our dream kitchen we love! Our fear was we had not lived in the house yet so we wondered if there would be any regrets. Today,7 months later and we can say with certainty that its everything and more we could have dreamed of. She helped us make our house and home! Laura was instrumental in this journey and it was a pleasure working with someone so professional. She always got back to us even for the smallest of questions and without a doubt we could not have done this without her. “We had no prior relationship with Oakwood, but were impressed with the quality of staff that we dealt with, from the first contact through to the finished renovation. We needed a variance to be allowed to obtain the proper permits and John Liptak, owner of Oakwood was instrumental in obtaining this on our behalf. Without his personal interest in our renovation, we would not have proceeded with the project. John also gave us the benefit of his years of experience with various suggestions for our room. Our design specialist was wonderful, offering many unique ideas for us to consider, always offering various solutions to meet our budget. We particularly love the windows and paneling in our great room. The quality of the work was top notch. The wood craftsman assigned to our project did an exceptional job on the ceiling beams and the paneling. Dave’s work makes this room so beautiful and unique. The project manager was very knowledgeable and worked on our behalf to make sure that all the little details were dealt with to our satisfaction. Trent was very responsive to our needs and concerns. We can speak to Oakwood’s integrity and professionalism. They wanted the addition to be a room that we would be take pleasure and pride in for many years to come. We truly marvel at the room each day when we enter it. We are very satisfied with our experience and relationship with Oakwood.”

“We found to our great relief that Robert (who is the primary person in charge of Classic Design Construction) has an extraordinary level of skill in all aspects of renovation works (plumbing, electrical, mechanical, earth moving, walls, flooring, paving, roofing, etc..), resourcefulness, experience of construction, design, cost options and materials. More than this, he has gone out of his way often to help us in times of urgency and has demonstrated integrity in terms of time and project management, cost savings, working well to required codes. His reliability is a key factor and his timeliness in bringing together the necessary team for each job is something we find gratifying and reassuring. I am only hesitant to speak fully of our appreciation of Robert because we know he is so highly in demand.”

“Called them to install 4 doors on a rental property I had recently acquired. Ended up giving them 32 more to install. Had them also paint the interior of the building. Overall the job was done quickly and I was satisfied with the end result. Very professional and chill guys. They quoted me for lower than other companies so I was a bit skeptical at first, once I saw the four doors completed, I had no problem giving them more work. Highly recommend.”
