There was multiple new rooflines added, 3 new decks, a new front entrance, a cantilevered floor section, and a complete exterior alteration. The original home is unrecognizable. “To me a good contractor is judged on these categories, communication, Quoting process, Reliability and Skill. Communication - The communication was always within same day and for much of the time within 4 hours of me asking a question. This level of communication was before the quote, during the quote and after the deposit was paid. He promised to start the first day of work on a Tuesday but weather caused a delay at another job site and he called me the day before to let me know. It was nice to be informed instead of wondering why a contractor never showed up. I was away for a few days, he sent texts and he took pictures to keep me up to date on the progress. Quote process - During the quoting process he made it a point to look take into account all the things that could go wrong due to the condition of the structure underneath since it was hidden until demolition occurred. Thankfully the structure underneath was fine and the price and time he took to complete was exactly as quoted. Reliability - He said he would start work on a certain day and be finished within a week of starting. He started 1 day late but called me the day before to inform me he couldn't make it the next day. Other than that minor change he came as promised, demolished everything and rebuilt everything. As promised, on time and on budget. Skill - Everything looks and feels very solid. Visually it looks great.”

“Shannon performed all architectural design and drawings for our new home. She provided great advice and gave us lots of ideas. Her suggestions were all very useful and we loved the fact that they were very practical but did not compensate on the design in anyway. We (the client) changed our minds on quite a few things over the months of the drawings and Shannon was very patient and met all of our needs. Shannon also provided us with a 3D model which was extremely helpful to see what each room would look like as well as the elevations on the exterior. In summary, Shannon is extremely knowledgeable, hard working, and so easy to work with. We are very pleased with our new home and so grateful to have Shannon's expertise.”

The first task was to design and build a sound barrier around a hydro transformer kiosk. I was so satisfied with this job that I brought Max back to take his best shot at another design and construction challenge. My next requests were to complete a few finishing touches at my lakeside cabin, as well as complete an unfinished, rustic outdoor bathroom.
