As the lead artist and owner of Chicago Mosaics, I have studied and worked in many mediums but my focus on mosaic art inspires me to create lasting mosaic beauty and interest on murals, fireplaces, back-splashes, walls, floors and sculptural forms. I design and install custom mosaic work in private homes, commercial spaces and public art. Each creation is site specific as I work closely with the client, interior designer or architect to ensure a unique and harmonious mosaic project. Mosaic art can be quite diverse in appearance and sensibility: they can colorful and intense or employ a contemporary and subtle color palette. I specialize in painting customized murals, and take pride in the fact that I listen well to my customers so that their vision comes to reality on their wall. I specialize in children's rooms and underwater themes. My style could be described as realistic, as I like to paint from real life....especially realistic looking animals and other nature subjects. I have painted everything from stingrays to Hello Kitty to superheroes to soccer and am always open to new challenges.
