Art&Soul supply custom-made art. Clients can be as involved in the process as they like, from choosing the size of the canvas, the colors they like (or dislike), & from a variety of abstract styles. Or on the flip side clients not knowing what they want can send a photo of the wall they need to "art" (include the furniture in the room) and the artist/designer will select a suitable suite of colors that will tie the room together with their own custom-made piece for a very reasonable price.

Coopita is a global marketplace created for craftsmen and artisans based in Asia. We recognize an unfulfilled global demand for creative and unique products created by makers from Asia. This spurred us to develop Coopita; a platform bridging the demand and supply. We are strong advocates of supporting local and social enterprises. As a team of young Asian entrepreneurs, this endeavour is close to our hearts. We believe handmade quality products that often represent traditions and culture from remote parts of Asia deserves a dedicated platform in an e-commerce market flooded with mass-manufactured merchandise.

By the grace of God, Studio Asobi was founded by Huiwen and Kenneth, a husband and wife team of ceramic artists. We initially took up pottery in Singapore as a hobby, but very soon fell in love with the beauty and complexity of this art form. In 2013, Huiwen took a sabbatical from her financially rewarding corporate career and after a pilgrimage of discovery in Tajimi, one of Japan’s famous pottery towns, she decided to take a big step of faith and practice ceramics full-time. Trained in art and architecture, Kenneth has always held a special love for ceramic sculpture, and since joining Huiwen in this practice, now helps to chart Studio Asobi’s artistic direction. “Asobi (遊び)” means “play” in Japanese. The Kanji word “遊” also translates to “journey” in Mandarin. We see life both as a spiritual journey of exploration, and also as a joyful adventure, and our decision to become potters is a big part of this adventure we are embarking on as a couple. We also want to embed this spirit of a playful journey into our work, lovingly naming each vessel we create and weaving in the dreamy beauty of haikus into our art. We create our ceramic art as a reflection of our spiritual journey of faith, using clay to express our love, our hope, and our struggles. We also run introductory ceramics workshops from our cosy home studio. Isaiah 64:8 says “But now, O Lord, you are our Father; we are the clay, and you are our potter; we are all the work of your hand.” Every day, we wake up full of gratitude for the life we are given, and we want to share this gratitude and love with the people around us. We have thus pledged to donate 20% of our profits to local charity Mercy Centre, for their wonderful ministry towards the homeless in Singapore. We also believe in using our gifts as a force for good, and we have donated our works in support of charitable causes such as Room To Read and Oxfam Trailwalker.

Euphoramics arose from the simple notion that joy, happiness and euphoria are best experienced first hand. But the experience can be elevated when shared. Euphoramics focuses on handmade ceramics that are both aesthetically pleasing and functional. The works are inspired by nature and aim to provide a more tactile experience for the user. Each piece of ceramic ware is individually crafted, making every piece unique and having a character of its own.

I am a British Mixed Media Artist based in Singapore. I have been an artist all my life, I studied at Kingston Upon Thames University in London, with a focus on painting and printmaking. I moved to Singapore in 2007 where I was able to return to my painting practice in a serious way (In London I worked as a creative make-up artist and textile designer). I started with my Buddha Collection inspired by our visits to Thailand and Bali, but after a friend suggested I paint Singapore 'in your funky printmaking style', I created my first painting of the beautiful colonial building of Raffles Hotel. As I acquired more visitors to my studio, people loved my emerging collection of Singapore Landmarks and I then was approached by The Fullerton Hotel who offered to host my solo exhibition 'Singapore Landmarks'. To date my largest work is 'The Singapore Botanic Gardens' painting which is 12 ft x 4ft. Many of the original paintings I make are large scale and can take several months to complete. These are showcase pieces that are made for exhibition or for bespoke commissions, but I am also passionate about making my Art accessible to those who do not have the space or budget for an original piece. Choosing to make my prints only of the highest quality is important to me, not only do I use the highest quality German Hahnemuhle cotton paper which is 310 gsm but I have a master printer who makes sure that the Giclee print's colours are matched to the painting and the colours are as intense and bright as they are on the canvas. At Clare Haxby Studio we sell our prints as a Limited Edition, this means that once the edition quantity is sold then no more are produced. The prints are signed and feature the Clare Haxby Studio Seal for Authenticity as well as a unique edition number. This gives you the confidence that you are buying a special and unique art print. Do take a look at my collection of Singapore and Asia inspired work. If you have any questions do not hesitate to contact me at firstname.lastname@example.org or through my website - www.clarehaxby.com. I look forward to hearing from you! Clare
