“It is often said that the devil is in the details. When I was finally closing in on the finishing touches of a complete kitchen makeover, I knew I wanted a very special look for my backsplash, but I didn’t know where to find it. For months, I remained stalled, unable to complete the final steps,my while I searched specialty tile shops and pleaded with kitchen designers for suggestions. But, I found nothing that was distinctive and unique. Then, I happened upon hhmosaics.com and saw the stunning glasswork by Heather Hancock. My heart began to sing as I perused her art installations. “I hired Weindesign Art Studio to create artwork for the common spaces in a residential apartment building. 2 pieces were made for each of the 13 elevator lobbies and 3 for the main lobby on the ground floor. The work was non representational, and had to be framed in a way that protected the work from accidental damage. Susan completed and installed the work in the time frame we needed, and on budget. She was professional, well informed, and had some great suggestions. Her work fit well with the refresh we did on the building.”

“We were fortunate to find Weston under interior decorators and more fortunate that he also is an expert in design....integrating colors and schemes. We were looking for an open concept dining/kitchen with a mixture of shabby chic and coastal. He designed our small kitchen area, removing an intrusive wall into a wonderful island that shares our schemes adding beautifully restored antique facing onto the island. He was able to stay within our budget oftentimes using his manual skills which lowered costs. As an aside he also refinished an entertainment center from New England heavy wood look to a grey shabby. This look has transformed our living room into a coastal open floor plan as the rooms flow together. During the process we found he has a large network of other professionals to perform tasks that satisfied our condo association requirements. Weston has been diligent and professional completing the project within an appropriate time frame. We have had a multitude of compliments from other owners in our community and we are thrilled to be the FIRST condo in this community to be able to walk in the front door and be greeted with a gorgeous water view !”
