“We live in a two-story, approximately 2,000 square foot, 41-year old house. Over the years, we have done plenty of DIY improvements and a few renovations that we contracted with professionals. We have added a porch and deck, added hardwood floors, expanded and renovated three bathrooms, updated the family room, replaced siding and windows. The latest renovation was to completely gut our 1971 kitchen and make it a dream space. As with our last two renovations, we turned to the husband/wife team of Alan and Nora Crouch at Rose Gate Design Studio. We have come to rely on their expertise in building and renovation, their keen design talent, and their integrity and pride in doing a job that pleases the client as well as meets their high standards of a job well done. They deserve 10 stars for their attention to detail, originality and patience with picky clients! After doing three renovations with Alan and Nora, we wouldn't dream of trusting our next renovation to anyone else! And we have at least one more big project to do!”

“I am the lucky recipient of this tile blacksplash. Nearing the end of a LONG kitchen renovation, I saw that I wanted to create a focal point with the backsplash that would "pop". The artist was able to recommend a painting in her collection that was already in panoramic style. It had the golds and reds and yellows in it that really tied it together nicely with the cabinetry. I loved it. The artist was able to photoshop how the painted tiles would look in my space - how cool is that? She promised delivery of the painted tiles in three weeks and beat that timeframe. She worked with the tileman, providing him a swatch for the grout color. And did you see in the photo that she even hand-painted the electrical faceplate to blend in? This turned out to be one of the best experiences of the whole project for me. Working with Dorothy Fagan was easy. Her expertise and flexibility allowed me to customize this space ... and look at beautiful art while I'm doing dishes!”
