“My husband and I are in love with Tanja's work! The experience from start to finish has been amazing. She has an excellent eye and isn't afraid to give you her opinion, which I appreciate. She completes the work in the promised timeframe and gave us the opportunity to see the work in progress in her studio. Such a treat! We're on our second commission of 4 more pieces for different parts of our new home. I'm going to need more wall space...she has so many interesting ideas and techniques, would love to have them all! “While searching the internet I discovered Julia'a site. I became her student and learned at close hand the difficulties in production of her work. Following her mastery in all other mediums she turned to porcelain painting. In the production of murals she found that each color has idiosyncrasies that must be mastered only following lengthy trial and error studies. Julia's talent lies then, not only with her natural abilities, but also with knowledge of how each color acts with itself as well as in mixes thereof, but also with the knowledge of how oven heat changes the color. The result is the deep display of color unobtainable in other venues but when accomplished to 'fit' a specific need is spectacular. Julia's exceptional talent , sense of balance, and background of lifelong studies all add to professionalism in producing excellent and realistic works. She will not tolerate flaws, always reaching for the highest level of perfection. She works tirelessly and is scrupulously honest, leading to many repeat requests.”

“My husband and I have visited the Nizhoni Ranch Gallery and a show sponsored by the owners in Tubac, AZ. The quality of their Navajo Textiles and Art was absolutely beautiful and comprehensive, from breath-taking antiques to more modern and creative quality pieces. Their inventory is the largest we have seen to date throughout the Southwest. Additionally, the lectures provided by Steve Getzwiller and his staff were fascinating from the historical influences impacting the tribes to the intricacies of preparing the wool and dyes and creating the art. I consider the Getzwiller's as the absolute top experts in their field and would highly recommend anyone interested in Navajo Rugs and Art to connect with the Nizhoni Ranch Gallery and meet the Getzwillers.”

“Delighted for yet another season with my wonderful fountain. Every aspect perfect as they day I bought it in Tubac, AZ. My home builder and his wife, in Frankfort, MI, were so impressed with the craftsmanship and beauty they ordered one for themselves. Though never meeting Lee or visiting his gallery, the fountain was and is exceptional!”
