David Jean is a Canadian artist whose work speaks from a deep inner space. That space is filled with a lifetime of experience, and images that are pure poetry. I happen to also own one piece of David's work; eight magnificent horses galloping at break-neck speed towards 'who knows what'. A powerful reminder of each of our lives. David Jean's prior success' speak for themselves. I was honoured to be a part of his donation to the Vatican Collections (for Pope John Paul Millennium Celebrations) graciously proposed and facilitated by the ancient Order of the Bennedictines (OSB), and I stand in awe of his ongoing contribution to Canadian charities, cultural organizations and especially his ongoing production of art, that will stand the test of time. David Jean, a very gifted and talented artist has also showcased his fine art creations for film and television productions over many decades. As a Production Designer for film and television, myself and many other designers have had the privilege to collaborate with David's artistic contributions to visually enhance the story and it's characters through the art direction of a production. He has the sensitivity, ability and beautiful insight to create in many diverse artistic fields, including personal living environments. David's ongoing experimentation of new methods and techniques make his creations unique and extremely inspiring.

I have commissioned a number of paintings from David Jean over the years and all were extraordinary. He is an immensely talented artist and a joy to work with. Two of the paintings he did for me are now part of a museum display.

I own several pieces of work by the Artist David Jean , Including prints, an original as well as a commission. David Jean, is a magnificent Master Artist who brought our walls to life through his incredible talent and brush strokes.
