About Us

Artworks by Marcine has been in business since 1997 and is owned and operated by Marcine Kiessling who possesses a BFA in painting from Penn State and an MFA in painting from Hunter College. Marcine takes great pride in creating custom murals, faux-finishes, trompe l'oeil, and themed rooms for residential and commercial venues in New Jersey. She has trained with various decorative painting professionals throughout the United States learning various faux and plaster techniques.

Inspiration Kitchen and Bath

Marcine is beyond talented, professional and a true gem of a person. She can tackle anything that needs to be painted and is super creative at transforming a space. She also can paint something decorative to transform a cabinet/vanity too! Looking forward to 2020, I have a few projects that I am hoping to collaborate with Marcine on. She is a lot of fun to work with which makes the project that much more enjoyable.

Marcine is an amazing artist. Her work on restoring a mural in our house was nothing short of miraculous. She matched the color, style and tone of an Italian-esque landscape, she worked fast and her rate was very reasonable given her tremendous skill. She could have worked in Raphael's or Michelangelo's studio back in the day if she'd been born in another time! I posted a before and after picture here. Truly amazing!

I was very pleased with the wall mural Marcine painted for me. She is very professional, pleasant to work with, sticks to the schedule she says she will be there and cleans up each day. Marcine listen to what I wanted painted and provided sketches for me, and made any changes along the way. She even came back the following year to add a few extra features I wanted. I also had her do a design pattern on the front of my kitchen bar. Everyone that has been to my home loves the work she did. I would highly recommend Marcine. The beach mural she painted for us is on her website.

We hired Marcine to paint a mural at our waterpark. I had looked at about 10 artists portfolios before finding her on Thumbtack. Her style was just what I was looking for and then when we met, I was convinced she was the right person for the job. She went over and above all my expectations. She's a true artist, creating fine detailed, gorgeously rendered work but most important, she is a true professional. She does what she says she is going to do and gets it done on time and without drama or creating headaches. I can't say enough good things about working with her. The mural is perfection.

Marcine is a pleasure to work with. She is professional and completes the work on time (or even early)! She gives a fair price and does a terrific job of finding the right "recipes" to make sure the faux painting colors are right whether it be for a touch up job or starting a room from scratch. I highly recommend her.
