ASIZA fine arts

Asiza has been an artist all her life. She is a graduate of the Alberta College of Art and spent many years working as an art director at an ad agency and later as a graphic designer at her own firm. While taking time off to raise her kids, she rediscovered her passion for painting. Her paintings are bold and deep with stories of connection - connection with self, family, friends and environment. Discovering at 35 that she had an identical twin sister half a world away, has been a prime driver and theme for her recent works. Her art appeals most to those that want something way beyond the standard complementary palate - beyond what simply matches the curtains. Her collectors love to share her story and prominently display her works to stand out instead of blending in with the decor.
