Dennis Sabo is an internationally award winning photographer specializing in contemporary fine art abstract, landscape, and seascape photography. The recipient of the 2019 Healing Power of Art & Artists membership award for the Healing Power of Color exhibition from Manhattan Art International, New York, Dennis offers unique landscapes and natural world abstracts that capture the beauty and spirit of nature. Dennis's fine art has been included in solo and group gallery exhibitions, commercial installations and private home collections throughout the United States and internationally, and also in books, magazines, and in multimedia worldwide including NOVA, PBS, National Geographic, Canon U.S.A., Inc., Portfolio Magazine Florida, and Blue Planet. Dennis is considered to be a master at transforming an image into something the viewer can connect with emotionally. His painterly and emotionally charged photographs are reminiscent of the best works of art by the legendary Impressionists while capturing light and its effect on the landscape with a contemporary vibrancy and energy. Color and Light while at the fore front of his photography is not his only conscious art play. Most of his nature imagery is a microcosm of a subject so that collectors can relate to the artwork regardless if they are from Vancouver, Maine, Florida, or elsewhere. Says Dennis, “My photographic goal is to evoke an emotional experience for the viewer. Perhaps it is how the subject is bathed in light, perhaps it is the lines of the subject that draws you in, or simply it is an image that you enjoy viewing. My interest is in the natural details; how the environment on a particular day, in a particular light, and at a particular moment in time correlates to my personal vision and interpretation of nature." I have known Dennis Sabo's work for many years and have wanted to purchase one of his works. His abstract treatment of his subject has been most fascinating to me. Desiring one of his works, I recently moved into a new home with a contemporary flair and I knew I had the perfect place in my dining area for one of his photographs. I chose the "Playful Tarn" from the "The Tarn”- Acadia National Park, Maine abstract collection. Dennis' portrayal of the Playful Tarn is "Monet like" and I love it. It's perfect for my new home.

Rarely do we submit reviews, and even more rarely do we rate at 5 stars. We are pleased to do both regarding Dennis Sabo Photography. His work displayed in a local art gallery caught our eyes a couple of years ago, and we finally decided to follow through. Dennis was exceptional in helping us work through our decision-process regarding which of his many wonderful photos, which photographic-medium (Metal Print, Giclée Canvas, or Photographic print in luster, glossy or metallic finishes), and which display size to choose for our tastes and home geometry. He did this in part by directing us to two local art displays we could visit to see some of his works, but primarily by inviting us to his home to show us other pieces displayed, and by computer-visualization of how various photos would appear when produced on the different mediums and in different sizes. He even politely steered us away from some photos we were considering but that he thought would not be optimal for our situation. Ultimately, we decided on two purchases - works titled "Wonderland" and "Mesmerized" - produced on Metal Print and sized 45 x 30. Since one of these had not been previously produced in Metal Print at this size, he had a test-model made to make sure the colors would come out just right, before entering the final print order. End result - the two photos are eye-popping and we have gotten many complements from visitors. We remain very pleased with our interaction with, and purchases from Dennis, and highly recommend Dennis Sabo Photography.
I now own 2 of Dennis' photos that are printed on the metal backing. My latest is Urban Landscape. The image is amazing - you might think it was an abstract painting, but it is a photograph. The colors are brilliant and the metal base seems to give it an extra depth. This photgraph provides a great focal point on the wall.
I purchased Primson Splash and absolutely love it! He is very professional, friendly and provides your order in a timely manner.
I recently purchased “Okavango Twilight” for my living room. Dennis Sabo has a unique talent. He takes the ordinary and transforms it into an amazing array of brillant color and flowing movement. The photo is the focus of the room and was very easy to hang. The piece is 36 x 60, but weighs less than 10 pounds.
My husband and I love bold, interesting, one of a kind artwork and Dennis Sabo fits the bill for us. Not only is he an amazingly talented photographer, he has excellent customer service and follow up. We highly recommend Dennis Sabo Photography.
I purchased work from Denis Sabo
Dennis Sabo's work is amazing!! He manages to capture the most beautiful scenes in nature. I placed a couple of his pieces in a powder room I recently remodeled. They look amazing.
New Customer, purchased artwork
I purchased 'Here Comes The Sun' in a paper print, size 24"x36". I am beyond happy with the quality and customer service I received through Dennis Sabo Photography. This print is absolutely gorgeous, we had it matted and framed at a local shop of our choice. It's such a fantastic addition to our home. I searched for a very long time to find a beautiful Palouse region print; so happy we found Dennis! I will definitely purchase for work from him in the future.
My husband and I walked into the art show at the Community Church in Tellico Village and as usual we went our separate ways to look around. After a short period of time my husband ran into me staring at this beautiful piece of art with tears in my eyes. Honestly art that moves me brings tears of joy to my eyes and this piece did just that. Shortly after a gentleman walked over and said hi I am Dennis, this is one of my pieces. I looked at him and said I need this in my home. Immediately a sold sticker went up on the "Fairytale Autumn" limited edition metal print. The only down side was I could not take it with me right then! I returned on Sunday to pick up my piece and awards were being given. As I stood quietly waiting as awards were being given Dennis came over and said hello. As categories were being announced Dennis said this is me this could be the winner.....AND it was!! The picture hangs in my dining room demanding to be looked at which I do every chance I get. Thank you Dennis for sharing your gift.
I purchased this artist's photography work.
We recently purchased our third Dennis Sabo print entitled "Appalachian Painter's Palette." His unique use of color and blend of the natural and abstract have helped us define our home style as "abstract natural" and have become beautiful focal points in our home. We get such great feedback from guests, and have enjoyed designing rooms around these pieces. Can't wait to pick up our next one!
We purchased "Wonderland" at an art show last year. Dennis' unique and incredible talent brings the magnificence and splendor of nature to life in our home every day. We were fortunate to meet Dennis and we plan on purchasing another piece from his work in the Palouse region in Washington State.
We purchased Dennis Sabo's 3-part "water colors" photographic metal print for the entry of our home. Each panel is 12 inch wide x 34 inch tall. It makes an impressive statement as you enter our home and we often get compliments. The colours are vibrant and the image recognizable as a reflection in water from a distance but viewed up close feels like abstract art…it's a treat for the eyes. We highly recommend his work!
