Ev Niewoehner Oil Paintings

I met Ev Niewoehner through the Nashville Artist Guild several years ago. He was instrumental in exhibitions for the Guild and also spearheaded the Second Floor Gallery in downtown Nashville. He promoted the arts with his professionalism and enthusiasm. His continued growth in his own artwork is contagious and joyful. He paints both large and small format pieces and his works brighten spaces and interiors.

Ev 's extraordinary paintings are elegant yet playful. Niewoehner uses a rich pallet of splendid colors complimenting but no overpowering a furnished room. Ev, much like a photographer, as the ability to freeze a moment in time and thus capturing the essence of a feeling.
