Flo de Bretagne

I cannot fully describe in words what it means to have the privilege of living with Florence’s art. I own four of her paintings and they bring joy to me and my family every day and awe from anyone who visits our home. I first fell in love with her gorgeous seed paintings, but over time I have realized the true breadth of her talent. The diversity of her work is really incredible. We own a seed painting, two glorious sea creatures and a landscape. The vibrancy of her colors and the intricacy of her designs result in paintings which are uniquely rich. Ultimately what sets Florence’s work apart is her dedication, both to her craft, and especially to her desire to reflect the happiness found in nature. To bring such beauty into my home has been a very real source of joy in my life.

First time I met Flo was when my children took her art lessons. Once I got to see Flo's paintings in her studio, I was really impressed because I've never seen anything like that before. I was taken by the bright colors, patterns, and her unique style. For many years, I've been following Flo's work, she is not only a talented artist but a great community citizen, I love the fact that her work is on murals at many local schools. I am a proud owner of Flo's painting with the two owls, their pattern reminded me of Faberge Eggs. Once we started talking about the paining, Flo told me the name of it is the Russian Owls ("les Chouettes Russes"). I love that painting, it really pops and attracts the eye. Looking at it brings me joy, it's the combination of warm colors, the sweat owls leaning and glancing at each other and their beautiful detailed pattern is mesmerizing.

We have three pieces of art by Flo de Bretagne and each brings us great pleasure. They are vibrant, exuberant and brimming with color — a tonic that perks us up on the grayest day. We are posting a photo of our latest acquisition.

Florence is the most amazing artist and the community-minded person I know! Her work on large scale murals for schools, that brings the community together for creating beautiful landscapes, that make the heart sing and soul feel light. Her work is full of vivid color and life, and behind each brushstroke, there is a lightness and attention to detail that sings! So when you have finished your remodel, or home project, it will be all the more stunning with a piece of with a beautiful unique piece of art from Flo, who can also customize whatever you want in any size!

When I was first introduced to Florence's work I was fascinated by her use of color and became so enamored with her glorious roosters that I commissioned one of my own. Working with Flo was such an enjoyable experience. She was professional and responsive, making certain that we communicated at each step of the project. Now my joyful "Coq Heureux" welcomes me to my kitchen every morning.

We have two of Florence's beautiful paintings in our bedroom. Each morning as I awake, they bring me so much happiness. The peacock, named Flames of Joy, is a metaphor for life. A peacock eats poisonous berries which enables it to make their stunning plumage. We, too, have many bitter things to swallow in life, and it is up to us to create beauty from it.

The artistry of Florence de Bretagne is truly uplifting, happy and engaging. I had the pleasure of placing her work in a Children's autism center to welcome the families into the facility. The bright joyful colors simply make you smile! I will definitely find opportunities to place her work again and again.

Voilà, c'est arrivé ce matin, déballé cet après-midi, minutieusement, et nous sommes sous le charme !! merci pour ces tableaux magnifiques, qui nous plaisent beaucoup ; Le jardin tropical jaune, ciel jaune soleil rose, empli de fleurs et arbres colorés, reflets pastels et vifs, je le regarde et m'amuse ,car j'ai l'impression de faire une promenade enchantée, et ne me lasse pas de m'y delecter !! .....au centre un homme et une femme, cheminent émerveillés, en allant de découvertes en découvertes en cette belle forêt, où voltigent de magnifiques oiseux bleus; La Provence,...on s'y croirait, j'entend même les cigales !!!Couleurs de douceur et de feu, paix et éternité sont présentes!

J'aime ce que peint Florence de Bretagne : avec elle on a l'impression d'être sur une autre planète ! La joie, la paix intérieure, le bonheur.. voilà ce qu'elle m'apporte. Une bulle dans nos vies parfois faites de tensions.

My wife Laurence and I chose "toi et moi", you and I, in English. The choice sounded as an evidence of our love story. The painting is in our sitting room, in our home in Paris. It looks different according to the intensity of the light in the room.

Florence's works are definitely amazing. I really love her cheerful and vivid works. They are a nice addition to my art collection and now hanged next to Yayoi Kusama's work.

Florence is an amazing artist. Her paintings are vibrant and exciting. I bought the Rooster and he's such a happy fellow, that he brings joy into the room.
