Half Light Honey

After graduating with her BFA in Studio Art and minor in Art History from Florida State University, Samantha packed up and moved to the mountains of NC to pursue her interests in ceramics and start her own home studio. 5 years later, she now runs her business from a historic old general store in Brasstown, NC where she is happy to still be getting her hands muddy each day. Her current work is made up of functional and decorative pieces with explorative surfaces. As a plant-lover, Samantha enjoys designing planters to add greenery and interest to any room. She also creates a variety of essentials for the table and kitchen while her decorative work includes jewelry, chimes, ornaments, and custom illustrated heirloom tiles. When she isn't doing pottery, Samantha enjoys hiking, teaching, painting, photography, and making memories with her 3 year old daughter.
