About Us

Boston-based artist specializing in colorful, contemporary landscapes and architectural subjects. Many of my paintings are inspired by coastal landscapes and seascapes of New England. The mood of my paintings are generally vibrant, joyful, colorful and airy. My dramatic landscapes, boats and beach cottages are full of abstract shape and color. My clients love how my boldly colorful paintings are joyful and happy, becoming a cheerful focal point to any room. Many say they want to "Live in a Lisa Courtney Painting." I'm always happy to work with you or your interior designer to create a custom painting for your home.

Lisa's mission, enthusiasm, and love of life and beauty is clearly demonstrated in her fine art collection. Whether she's drawing beaches, landscapes, boats, or marshes her vibrant colors and feelings of peacefulness jump out at you - in the most calming and peaceful manner of course! I wish I could buy all of her work. It was a tough decision for me. I selected a boat painting and it is the focal point of my living room. Highly recommend Lisa (check out her philosophy on her website page) and her art work is exceptional.

How do I spell happiness?! Lisa Courtney!!! Lisa's work is so bright and vibrant, it lights up every room it fills. I got my first painting 2 years ago and can't believe how much joy it brings to my home. I hope to be able to purchase another this year! So beautiful and so transporting.
