Yes I’m very happy with the quality of the curtains and pillows delivered by Melton Workroom. But the best part about this transaction was the experience and the connection with that company. Janice Melton herself designs and manufactures these products in Los Angeles. The work is unique and beautiful. Plus, I spoke to her on the phone and she was delightful and professional. She’ll even dish a few movie stories from her days working behind the scenes in film production. Seems like a great person. More important, the products I purchased were better value than I could have expected. And they were delivered in a timely manner.

I have a set of three appliqued linen cafe curtains, originally custom made by a previous craftsperson. One of them was damaged by water. Jan Melton at Melton Workroom matched the linen fabrics plus replicated the applique design. It was well made and matches perfectly. Jan was very helpful and responsive.

Janice helped me design the perfect Roman shades for the dining room of our Prairie-style home, built in 1914. She sent me fabric and thread samples, was meticulous about confirming the measurements, and met a tight deadline. The shades enhance our beautiful windows and woodwork, and everyone who sees them asks how we managed to find shades that look like they were made just for our house. Well, they were!
