We hired MJP Studios for a wood-graining project at the Yale Art Gallery. It was a months-long project and like most projects was subject to unanticipated challenges and delays. MJP was not only flexible in dealing with a constantly shifting schedule, they performed their work capably and professionally throughout. Mark, the principal for the company, was thorough and responsive in developing color and grain matching glazes and techniques to produce finishes that felt convincing in a mid-18th century historic building. Mark and his team of hired professionals produced a finished product that is beautiful, durable and of the highest quality. We couldn't be happier.

I asked Marc to paint some antique (circa 1795) pine doors with a faux crotch mahogany treatment. I have training in conservation and I know what such doors should look like. Marc did a PERFECT job, quickly and reasonably. I plan to engaga him again for faux graining other doors, this time with an oak finish.

Marc is an amazing artist. I have hired and rehired him several times over the last few years to create ceiling murals in my small suburban house. He has transformed our non-descript home into a little jewel. Because of his work we get to live in my own little dream European palace. Marc is a pleasure to work with.
