I am absolutely thrilled with the stained glass domes and oval window which Bill & his team put in to my new home. Our house is built on a ravine property and they designed the stained glass to reflect the beauty of the natural surroundings. Solarium Design Group are true artisans who create breathtaking works of art. I am so happy that I will now have a garden trellis with birds and beautiful flowers both inside and outside of my house!!

Happy to report our "first" experience into the world of custom Leaded Glass Dome design and build was a happy one. Bill and the Solarium team were very helpful in helping us choose a design for a fairly complex 10-foot (dimension) dome structure in our new home. We were able to see past Solarium dome designs and actually "touch & feel" samples in their Toronto production facility. I hired SGD to make a skylight lens for my new home. They are extremely professional. They understood what I was looking for and helped design a beautiful lens. They were very patient with me during the design process and with the fact that I had to push back the install date on several occasions due to construction delays. They were great to work with and I would definitely recommend them to anyone. My lens is gorgeous and was made with quality and care. I absolutely love it.

Working with Bill and Lisa to create a design that reflected the aesthetic of our home was a great pleasure from the initial on site meeting to the final installation of our stunning skylight lens. The team at Solarium worked diligently to ensure that the design exceeded my expectations - Lisa brilliantly suggested that the paint finish be white (for which I will always be grateful!) and the beautiful vintage sea foam glass centre was entirely due to Katheryn's impeccable taste and talent. Installation day went flawlessly ... Bill and Al were really wonderful! They were both highly efficient in the delicate work of fitting the frame into the ceiling opening. Al's efforts to touch up and clean up as he worked were really appreciated. I'm thrilled!

We worked with Bill and his team for about a year while we renovated a large historic home in Toronto. The home had lots of original stained and leaded glass that needed extensive restoration. There were also new stained glass windows required in many places which had to work with and be sympathetic to the existing glass and feel of the home. Bill made many site visits and interacted very well with the other trades (foreman, carpenters etc.) working on the house. He went above and beyond to source old glass to match some of the glass in windows that needed restoration. His designs for the new glass windows work perfectly with the old ones to the extent that people actually ask what is original and what is new. There were no surprises with Solarium. They came on site and discussed the project with us and then gave us a written quote. Once accepted they then worked on the designs which were sent to us for approval. We then met with them at their studio to approve the glass selections for the new windows. They then manufactured the glass panels and installed them at the house. Everything was done on schedule. From start to finish everything ran smoothly and professionally and they were an absolute pleasure to deal with. It is great to work with true artists and craftsmen. We would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking to either restore existing stained glass or create new ones for their home.
