Welding Creations

Welding Creations founder, Rachel Paolino, received her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Sculpture from Rhode Island College, where she focused on metal fabrication. Paolino's work is full of contrast, pairing custom fabricated objects with new, repurposed and reclaimed materials. The result is a finished product that creates a beautiful combination of aesthetics and functionality. Materials often include metal, wood, fabric, objects from nature or recycled materials. Where some might try to hide points of structural integrity, she often chooses to spotlight them, celebrating their function and beauty. To her, the process of creation is as important as the completion of the work itself. Paolino first seeks to understand her client's functional needs and material/design tastes. She then pays close attention to every detail during the design and creation process. Paolino was born in Providence, RI and currently lives and works on Cape Cod.
