Hi Gretchen, I just received your "Inca Dove" print. Just love it!!! Maybe next year we can talk about reproducing some of your work as giclée canvas prints?? We are working on expanding our lines of contemporary artists. I am pretty picky and this piece just thrilled me. Gretchen Deahl's work has been of consistent high quality, dynamic and engaging. I have been a customer for many years and enjoy her diverse and colorful stylings. Some are appropriate for the nursery and children's rooms; others look terrific in areas such as the living room, den, or hallways/stairwells that call out for fanciful and evocative small pieces. I'm lucky enough to own one of her very earliest paintings, which is in a much more representative style than what she typically sells today (it actually won a Philadelphia-area art award), but if you ask nicely she might accommodate your needs in that respect as well. She is wonderful to work with, easy-going and detail-oriented all at the same time.

I am a collector of Gretchen Deahl's art work. Since, she has opened her Etsy Shop, I usually cannot resist buying something for home and family. Over the past two holiday seasons, I purchased my nieces personalized Guardian Monster Prints for their bedrooms or playrooms. Recently, I gave two, framed guardian monsters to our newborn, twin, great nieces. The responses have been so enthusiastic because of Gretchen's unique work. Plus, it's quite an unusual gift to receive such a beautiful and creative, guardian monster art print as decoration or decor. What a concept! I guarantee it will be a something that the owner will never out grow. I can imagine keeping Gretchen's prints for the rest of my life and passing them on to future generations. She authored and includes, with the Guardian Monsters, imaginative literature and an official personal, certificate of ownership. My teenage boy and girl each have a baby monster print and a monster poster in their rooms. I have others from Gretchen's line of other creatures throughout my house. I have also bought pins from the Paper Face Collection, Peace Beast, and Guardian Patrol. They're great! Gretchen's drawings are amazingly creative. Her sense of color scheme and patterned details and designs are beautiful, while interesting to look at up close. You just know there is a story waiting to be told behind each one.

I discovered Ms. Deahl's work through a link sent to me by a friend. When I viewed her website "Where Monster Meet", I was amazed at her unique creativity and incredibly detailed work. Not only are her monsters fun to look at, but the purpose of the story behind each one, leads you into another world! Kids love her work making it a wonderful addition to any child's room.
