“I have used Fairfax Floors for two projects and the “5” rating is well deserved. They installed beautiful wood flooring on the lower level, stairs and upper hall of my townhouse. Miguel’s installation work was impeccable. The latest project required a customized rug for an awkward dining room space. Kevin offered a creative solution and had the rug made. Very pleased with the result. I highly recommend Fairfax Floors. I found them reasonably priced, projects were completed on time and customer service was excellent. I plan to use them again.”

“When I first moved my new home in Manassas, the living room, dining room, hall, and stairway floors were battered and stained, and the railing that separated the living room from the stairwell was ugly and dangerously loose. The Star company did a great job on the floors and a phenomenal job on the railing. The job supervisor showed me what the stain choices would look like on the floor - and I'm glad he did because my first choice would not have pleased me. The railing had to be taken up to be stripped and stained in their shop, and they replaced it with extra pinnings and made all the pinnings very strong. It looked just like new when they were done which amazed me.”

“During our remodel we removed load bearing walls to open up our kitchen and dining room to our living room. We removed all the old tile in the kitchen leaving gaping holes in the old and ugly hardwood flooring. A previous contractor told us the floors had to be replaced because they had been refinished too many times. I called Jeff with At Your Door Store who promptly came out and told me the floors could be refinished, the floors had not been refinished too many times, and the gaping holes and kitchen area could easily be piano keyed in with new hardwood flooring with the current old hardwood, then sanded, stained and would be beautiful. He was right! The floor is beautiful and looks brand new! He also stained the stairs and recommended someone for us to hire to add the finishing touches to complete the stairs.”

“William Zavala has impressive attention to detail and will make sure the work is done well. We had him do work for us last year (painting and floor refinishing). We found him checking the quality with a flashlight. This year, we asked him to return after we'd had an incident with a pet that had gone unnoticed and we needed a section of floor repaired. He returned and charged us a reasonable fee. Initially the repair didn't look good- he came back out, agreed it wasn't good and re-did the job at his expense. We are moving soon and will certainly call him for any painting and floor work.”
