“Assembly's team is nothing short of amazing. Super on top of it, great communicators, and talented in both the design and build aspects. It was really nice having one team manage both the design and build of our house-- less back and forth, more cost efficiency, and we could not be more thrilled with the results. It really was a smooth process from start to finish. We appreciated all of the transparency around cost, and the realistic guidance they gave throughout our decision making. It also felt very personal... we got to know their team well in the process, and it felt like they really grew to understand us and what we were going for. I really can't fully convey how enthusiastically and confidently I recommend them to anyone wanting to design and build a home!”

“We were searching for a home when we moved back to Asheville, and happened to stumble on a house that Kevin and Timber Creek were about to complete construction on. Everything worked out perfectly and we were able to purchase the house and we are so glad we did! The house has been a wonderful home for us. There are so many details that they thought of and so much custom work which makes our home one of a kind! They really thought of everything! 4 years later and we still get so many compliments on how well built the house is and how much attention was paid to the details. We couldn’t be happier and Kevin has been very helpful in answering any questions we have had, even to this day!”

“Evergreen Custom Construction did an exceptional job on our home. Doug Oles the owner personally supervised every aspect of the work to make certain it was completed in a flawless and timely manner. There was never a day that this project was ongoing that we did not witness him outside of our home checking the work in progress.He has an exceptional eye for detail and design. His team were all very professional and courteous. Anytime anyone asks about our contractor we always say to use Evergreen Custom Construction. We are so extremely happy with the finished product. It brings a sense of pride when we get compliments on our home now which we do often. We are fortunate that we chose Evergreen Custom Construction because the owner, Doug Oles, is extremely virtuous and has great integrity. We have renovated all of the homes we have lived in over the past 25 years and have been most pleased with Doug. He is a consummate professional and runs a great company. “Deltec Homes 'co-created' our current home: lots of back & forth tweaking the design to our preferences, once we settled on the template size. They also connected us with another homeowner 'in our general area' whose home we toured (while we were in our initial inquiry phase) & referred us to a 'local' contractor with experience 'assembling' their designs. Lots of tech support. The template, itself, allowed us to manifest our personal preferences. We couldn't be happier with the structure AND the experience.”

“Buchanan Const. was a pleasure to work with on building our home. His knowledge of building and materials was excellent. He made specific suggestions during the building process, such as adding a window seat and using the flooring material as the seating area. Buchanan also recommended extra insulation above the garage to help the bonus room for heating. Rick provided detailed invoices that spelled out each work order and changes that were made during the construction process. Since we were out of town for some of the construction, he always sent me photos of what they were doing and stayed in constant contact. His suggestion of landscaping ( adding rock walls ) was appreciated. I would highly recommend Buchanan Construction, and if I build another home, Rick will be the first builder I will call.”

“My wife and I embarked on an in city build of our home in Asheville after falling in love with this small city and stumbling upon a rare available lot quite walkable to downtown. The year prior to this, when we were quite content to rent longterm, we went with close friends who were eager to build here on a tour of Jade Mountain built homes locally. We were immediately drawn to the craftsmanship, intelligent livability and homey style of all 5 projects we saw that day and mentally pocketed that info for the future. So when our lot became available, we never hesitated to start all of our design/build planning discussions exclusively with Jade. It is more than a year later from that time, in fact we just moved into our completed home this week, and we couldn't be more pleased not just with the outcome but with the journey. No build project can be stress free, God knows. But Jade has in house teams of craftsman and we count all of the 20-25 or so team members we encountered as vested friends in our project. Urban neighbor challenges came up early in the build process and without the ever present humor and respectful good nature of Jade's workers, we would not have fared so well. We really can't say enough about the quality of our home's build, coupled with a process where we were listened to and valued every step of the way. But perhaps most of all, the Jade Mountain team is as proud and excited about our completed project as we are. Hans Doellgast has assembled a great group of folks to work with, top quality from start to finish.”
