Someone was there the next day when they said they would be, they provided several options for the repair and actually encouraged me to select the lower cost option as a better solution for the size of my home. “We are remodeling a farmhouse built in 1890, here in East Asheville, and Larry at Above & Below Plumbing has been our plumber from the start of the project 3 months ago. He is professional, punctual, a problem solver, extremely affordable and fair, and applies beauty to every task, whether inside the walls or out in plain view. We've had him convert an upstairs Jack and Jill closet into a Jack and Jill bathroom for the kids, complete with corner toilet. This was no small feat and we are just about done with this task! He had to plumb an area of the house that was extremely challenging and has done a great job. He's also replaced an old toilet with one I purchased and replaced a dangerous and dilapidated bathroom sink cabinet with a pedestal I purchased as well. That is shown in the picture. This has made our one functional bathroom extra efficient and safe for the kids while we add the two other bathrooms. Next he is converting an old sun room into the master bath. Very excited for that. And he installed our kitchen sink (shown), a tankless electric water heather, and removed much old piping from the house, replacing old galvanized piping with updated materials as we go, and is about to expand our main line to the house from 1/2" to 3/4", allowing us to have to water sources on at one time (what a gift! With 3 kids this is essential.). I can not recommend Larry highly enough for any plumbing need in the Asheville area and surrounding areas. I found his name by driving by a new home in West Asheville where his company's sign was posted outside. I am glad I did! You will not find a more fair person to do your plumbing, whether fixing a leak or installing a new system.”
