“I have worked with Jim Lackford to complete multiple home renovation and repair jobs and I highly recommend him. First, he’s easy to work with and is a good communicator. He’s trustworthy and more reliable than your best neighbor: When I had water in my basement over a weekend, he came over the very same day to remove the flooring. I don’t know any contractor who would turn on a dime like that to help in an emergency! Jim is extremely knowledgeable and skilled in everything “home.” He did painting and wallpapering for me, he patched holes in my ceiling, he laid tile in my laundry area, hung a mirror, installed a mosaic tile backsplash, and so on. He always did the work with skill and care. He also has access to skilled workers who can support him when the job requires it.”

“If I could leave 10 stars, I would. Every aspect of selection, order, delivery, and installation was beyond expectation for 30 original windows in an 18th century house. Measurements of each window had to be a nightmare because of their age and condition, yet each one was installed beautifully. Choosing appropriately for the house's time was a cinch with their help and they were more than willing to work with delay of installation due to restoration glitches. And cost was very affordable.”
