We worked with Jeff and we went through two iterations of the preliminary design stages over the past two months. After first round of design and moving on to pricing acquisitions, we found we were getting near our budget. We re-assessed the layout and decided we did not need a basement and Jeff was able to provide the same plan with all the rooms we needed in the second iteration of preliminary design. Furthermore, not only did he offer recommendations for more cost-savings, these changes also offered a new style for the house which we really love. “Above and beyond our expectations Will and his entire incredible crew of outstanding artisan craftsmen totally gutted from the roof to the basement, redesigned rooms for quality and usable space, while we were away for the winter. Communication was key! Phone calls and text messages were promptly answered, photos of progress were sent, invaluable recommendations were made and costs were considered. There aren't enough adjectives of praise to recommend this company. Trust and integrity are second to none. We returned to a beautiful brand new 'home sweet home'. “After interviewing several different builders in Suttons Bay we decided to hire Maple Hill Builders for our project and we have been very happy that we did. Our project was the finish of the basement level in our home built in '94 - not a huge project for Maple Hill, but they treated us like like we were having a new home built. Drew and his team were punctual, gave us a clear and detailed bid, were respectful to our family during work days, gave us many good options and design ideas, and communicated very well during the project. Not only was the job completed on schedule it actually came in under budget. The end result is absolutely beautiful and exceeded our expectations. Out of the bids we received, Maple Hill was not the lowest, but we feel that we have an outstanding finish to our project.
