With so many sketchy contactors out there, we felt vulnerable and were gun shy about hiring someone who might take our money and run, leaving us to deal with a nightmare. After meeting Jim, the owner, we knew this was the company we wanted to work with. American Dream Design Build has built a solid reputation over its 20-year history in Puyallup, and working with a local builder with established relationships and processes was important to us. From our first consultation, it was clear that their team understood our concerns and priorities. They listened carefully to our vision and provided honest feedback, ensuring we felt confident about each step of the process. The communication remained open and transparent throughout, which put our minds at ease and made the renovation experience surprisingly enjoyable. Our designer, Grace, beautifully redesigned our existing bathroom to meet our current needs. She offered suggestions we hadn’t considered to maximize the space. Grace was phenomenal and so was the showroom; everything you can imagine and then some. With so many design options, it might have taken weeks to narrow down the choices, but Grace made it easy. She analyzed our existing aesthetics and put together several great options, making sure everything matched our vision and budget. Her attention to detail was impressive, and we appreciated how she explained the pros and cons of each option. Her expertise made us feel confident in every choice. Andrew, the project manager, was equally impressive. From the start, he coordinated every aspect of the job, making sure timelines were met and any unexpected issues were addressed quickly. His professionalism and responsiveness gave us confidence that the project would run smoothly, and we always felt informed about progress and next steps. Keith stood out for his reliability and work ethic. He was a true Jack of all trades, adding all jewelry - the finishing touches that brought it all together. Keith's friendly demeanor and willingness to answer our questions contributed to the positive atmosphere throughout the renovation. Thank you Keith, for going the extra mile to fix the bathroom door that hadn’t closed properly in twenty years. I’d love to hire you for a day to fix all the little things that need attention. Everyone who worked on our project was pleasant and professional: plumbers, electricians, tile setters and painters (Beautiful jobs, guys!) and we really appreciate that they always cleaned up at the end of the day, keeping the mess to a minimum. ADDB didn’t give us the lowest bid but as they say, you get what you pay for. Peace of mind is priceless. Our finished bathroom is well designed, well built and simply beautiful; I sometimes go there just to look at it! It’s so good we’re even considering a refresh/update for our second bathroom. “I initially contacted Armada Design & Build on the recommendation of of my friends. I had a big remodel of my unfinished basement in mind, and a reasonably tight timeline, and I was nervous about finding a company that could fit me into their busy schedule. From the outset, I was very impressed with Armada -- they showed up promptly for their initial appointment, looked around the space, and made lots of measurements and sketches, and Alex talked through a lot of the work that needed to be done. They had lots of great ideas and suggestions, and Alex gave me a concrete initial estimate. Once I agreed to the initial estimate, they had me go to their showroom, where a very helpful woman named Irina (I think, it was awhile ago) helped me make a bunch of decisions. The final estimate was drawn up, and it was very close to the initial estimate. (I had a lot of questions about it, and all were answered promptly.) When I signed the paperwork, Alex printed out a basic schedule (with the caveat that it might be off a couple of weeks) and I'm happy to report that, despite a couple of issues, they stuck very closely to the schedule, and I had a great sense of what things were happening in my basement when. Yuriy, the site supervisor, kept in great touch whenever there was a problem. Communication in general was very good. I can't rate Armada highly enough, I would definitely use them again for another project.”
