“Kevin Skelly built my house 8 years ago. It was such a terrific experience that we have remained friendly ever since. It is a modern house with clean lines that demanded care and perfect angles. He and his crew were as demanding that it be right as we were. The house sits on a very difficult site in the mountains without a lot of room to maneuver, yet it went well and with the exception of some weather delays had a timely completion. We had an expert come in at the framing stage to make sure everything was OK and Kevin was highly complimented for his work and he made the small adjustments recommended happily. Kevin and the architect worked as a team, which saved a lot of money and stress and time. Any changes needed were much simpler and instead of reams of working drawings, they were so used to working together that it went without any problems at all.”

“We hired Monica to build our home in Durango while we lived full time out of state. The entire project from start to finish went smoothly, communication was clear and consistent, we received daily updates and photos of progress, design suggestions and modifications made along the way enabled us to make the best possible use of the space. Her crew is professional, dedicated, clean, produces excellent quality and detail oriented. Monica is extremely budget conscious, regularly making suggestions to reduce costs and allowed me to make agreed upon purchases when I found something unique to add to our home. Our tastes aligned so it was easy to trust her recommendations for finishes as well. She went above and beyond to make this experience something far above expectations. We trusted her every step of the way and even gave her signed books of our checks to use along the way. I cannot make a higher recommendation and we could not have been more pleased with the outcome.”

“Vernon and his people were a blessing for us , Our dream home in Colorado was about 2 months into planning and construction when our builder passed away unexpectedly . Vernon stepped in and we never looked back. Our son who is an architect in Dallas and designed the home was very Impressed with Vernon and his crews. The job site was always organized and clean. Tina , who does the billing and coordinated the job was always available and took time for us anytime we were in town. The draw sheets were always clear and easy to understand , I felt both she and Vernon always had our best interest in mind. We love our house ! If we built another home we wouldn't consider anyone else. Vernon is a great family man, I have the utmost respect for him and his family”

“We are in the process of building a custom home with San Jaun Builders (.com) In Pagosa Springs CO We are on time and I feel ahead of schedule on the build. I want you readers to understand I am a passionate type of person. So bare with me if I seem to be over enthusiastic. First off Cobey and Erik; these two gentlemen have been a joy to work with. • my favorite compliment to them is that they LISTEN, they take notes, not just listening to be polite but so they can catch your vision for the home and property. • I have never heard either one say NO. They have helped coach me in the right direction on a couple of ideas I had that really were not practical. • I have never had to wait long for either one to get back to me on something. • I have been to the build site several times, and have met all the regular crew and several of the subs, I am just as happy about them. • I want to mention the excellent Craftsmanship I have noted; in fact I have pictures on my phone I would share with you but I can’t find the upload button on this site. Overall I could go on and on, so maybe I’ll post again sometime. One last thought is that I am 62 years old, so this is not my first rodeo so I am writing from experience. These guys are the best!!!
