“I used J.R. Heald Custom Carpentry to install a large (38X12), elevated deck using Trex products. I was extremely pleased with the finished product and enjoyed working with Justin. The deck was completed on time and on budget. Justin's professionalism started with his proposal. Justin sent me a nine-page proposal that included a detailed scope of work and an approximate completion timeframe. When contrasted with the other company's one-page proposal with few details beyond the price, I easily chose Justin. Justin's price was comparable to the other company, even with the extra cost of installing the Trex on a diagonal and some other niceties the other bid didn't include. Justin used a helical pile product instead of concrete footings. The helical pile was quickly installed, gave a measurable load bearing capacity, and created minimal mess. Justin suggested that I go with the black balusters which I never would have considered on my own. What a great suggestion! They blend right in and don't detract from the view. Justin was the type of contractor I felt comfortable leaving unsupervised at my home; his crew was equally respectable. Justin showed up every day and worked the full day; he didn't hop between jobs like some contractors do. His attention to detail was spectacular.
