“These guys were punctual, polite and had a great work ethic. They did more than one roof and finished them on the weekend. They cleaned up and let me use their magnet roller to pick up nails, which I really appreciated. I don’t think anyone could do that to please me! so it was a smart decision. I’d have no problem hiring them again.”

“The whole team is professional, knowledgeable and outstanding customer service. The handle inspection and securing there was no mold, gotta love that. After a toilet malfunction we woke up to a small river in our bathroom. Their team not only did a quote but was impressed with the video used give a full understanding of the remolding process. The prices was reasonable but I am opting for outstanding work over price, after all I have to keep this bathroom forever.”

“Preferred Building did a great job repairing damage done to our house by tenants and preparing it for sale. This involved matching wood, stain and construction methods to the conditions of our unusual home in Chapel Hill. Michael Tyrell is a very bright, organized individual experienced in house renovations and repairs. He is also a very personable young man. In addition to doing everything we asked, he had some great ideas for making the house show better when we sold it. He and his workmen took off their shoes on entering the house and treated it and us with great care. We were very very happy with his work”

“Mr. Prince replaced my roof for me last year. He worked with me to figure out the best solution for my 1968 home (with both gable and flat roofs) as well as my budget. His crew was fast, skilled, and courteous. My roof is good as new! My only caution is that his preferred gutter subcontractor does not work to the same standard as the rest of his team.”

“We Hired KC's Home Improvement to do several projects for us. From the first meeting with Richard, Project Estimator to the completion of the Projects with Jason and his team this company has continued to set a high standard of craftsmanship and professionalism. We started them out with a small French door project, this job was completed on time and within budget. On the second project we entrusted them to turn a storage room into a finished Marine/Dad's Man cave. All work passed all City Building Code inspections and the craftsmanship was equal to or better than the home builders work. The contract was clear and the payment schedule was fair. This is the only Company we trust with our home. Thank You KC's Home Improvement.”

“We hired JLB Remodeling to renovate our kitchen in 2011. What a wonderful decision that was! Jamie Bowlin, the owner, listened to our concerns and our wishes and had great ideas to help solve some problems we were experiencing. He worked with us to stay within our budget and never tried to persuade us to do more. He provided us with a project notebook that outlined what work would be done each day and which sub contractor we could expect. These subs were professional, always on time, considerate and, more importantly, did beautiful work. A project manager, or Mr. Bowlin himself, was on site for all the work and at the end of each day the work area had been swept, straightened and cleaned up. The whole experience was a very positive one and we now have a beautiful and functional kitchen that we absolutely love. The following year we did a total renovation of our master bathroom. We didn't think twice - we called JLB Remodeling again - another positive experience with wonderful results!”

“Chris and Melissa Johnson came to us with vision and ideas on how to make our dream remodel a reality. Although my dream remodel was not in my budget, they found a way to turn my ideas into reality that came as close to what I wanted as possible. Both Chris and Melissa have great ideas how to make the most of your space, with cost saving ideas so that you can maximize your budget. CKJ hires very respectful, professional sub-contractors that do great work. Chris works hard to move the project along efficiently and cleanly. He keeps a beautifully clean, neat work site, with quality work done. My husband and I have been amazed at how little we have been inconvenienced during the remodeling project. Now two neighbors are requesting quotes from him, and two other neighbors just had projects completed.”
