Adrienne has done work for me in two homes. She has an incredible gifting at being able to merge conflicting opinions into common ground that leaves everyone happy. Her knowledge of construction is extensive, and she makes difficult reconfiguring of living spaces come to life within the budget available. She can do everything from construction, to fit and finish. Her finished products are have exceeded expectations and are always beautiful. I can’t recommend her more highly.

Adrienne listened to our needs and respected we had a budget we had to stick to. I explained exactly what I needed her help on and she was able to provide us with several specific solutions to space / layout issues in our home. I appreciated that she was able to come up with great suggestions and ideas we had not thought of yet quite quickly while also taking into consideration every single “want” I had on my list. AMD Interiors handled the total renovation of my home in Solana Beach, CA recently. Adrienne Perkins and her crew were phenomenal to work with. Adrienne is VERY detailed oriented, creative, smart and knows construction better than most GC's I know. Her communication skills are amazing and her work ethic is unmatched. She held my hand many times through a 9 month renovation and she knows how to handle subs and knows exactly how to tie everything together. Her attention to detail and professionalism are paramount. She has great vision and is very pleasant and engaging. There were many times with this project that she took control as the General Contractor to see things through. Her company even staged the home completely for me using her keen eye to ALL of the furnishings to blend with the counters, colors, flooring etc. But, what I really appreciated from Adrienne is her undying loyalty. She always had my back and was there when I needed her....even at 5:00 am! She's a workaholic, but passionate about her company and satisfying her clients. I will always continue to have Adrienne and AMD Interiors help me with future projects. In fact, I've referred her to many people this past year who have hired her.

Adrienne exceeded our expectations in remodeling our traditional colonial house! She created a gorgeous, light, open, modern, family home. We remodeled our downstairs which included the kitchen, dining and living room, master bedroom, bath and powder room. She somehow drew out of us our decorative preferences and created a home that feels uniquely personal and updated modern. She is organized, prepared, understanding, accommodating and flexible and a pleasure to work with. Adrienne is talented with a keen eye for design and decor that is current while also respectful of themes and traditions of home styles. The fixtures, furnishings and hardware were carefully chosen and we were constantly surprised at how well every detail fit with our vision.

Adrienne only needed to be in our home a short time to 'get inside our heads, lifestyle and budget' to offer recommendations that were amazing. She totally captured the essence. We're still in the planning part of our project and will pick Adrienne's brain a lot more before we're finished.

Absolutely a fantastic interior design planning experience. Having someone with great end vision of our project really was amazing. Adrienne implemented all of our wishes and ideas. She also talked us through not wasting time and money on some of the ideas we had that really would not have worked out that well for a functional and attractive home. Absolutely worth the investment to get the best end result. Adrienne has amazing vision as well as product knowledge across so many areas. So glad we decided to seek her advice!!! There are 10,000 little decisions to be made in a home improvement. Having Adrienne sketch out and plan 9500 of them made the process so much more enjoyable and possible. Then she went to my wife's office and made that space so much better as well. Wow!!!

Adrienne Perkins of AMD Interiors will exceed your expectations! She is a rare find in that she listens to what you want and can take your vision and make it even better. Plus, if you plan to do a remodel she has construction experience and can essentially step in as your project manager. I have worked with Adrienne for 8 years. She initially helped me with my interior design needs, but when I expressed I had an exterior remodel idea she took that idea and returned a drawing back to me the next day. It was gorgeous. For this project she secured the contractor and designed just about everything: architecture of the home and garden, the lighting, furniture, and even created custom items for storage and entertainment. ADRIENNE PERKINS of AMD INTERIORS has a keen eye for design in the areas of colors for interior walls and coordinated materials for furniture, Her suggestions for kitchen organization and layout had great symmetry, terrific granite matching for the cabinet colors and tile floors. I have never dealt with a designer more creative, knowledgeable, amiable, and committed as Adrienne. I have used AMD INTERIORS for several interior design projects at my home. Company leader Adrienne Perkins has completely redesigned 3 rooms and provided consultation on several smaller projects within our home. She is incredibly talented, professional and a great communicator. She has a real gift for listening to a client's vision and translating that into a beautiful design.

I met Adrienne through one of the contractors we were getting a bid from and although it took us a while to find a contractor, I was very happy with Adrienne after our first meeting. After meeting with multiple designers she was the only one who I felt was actually listening to what I was saying and what I wanted...she could see my vision and was able to make it come to life and also provide input for new ideas and options I hadn't even considered. She definitely knows her stuff, she has a solid understanding of construction, architecture, wiring, etc. that I'm not sure all designers have but was definitely helpful when designing a kitchen and making changes to layout. She designed our kitchen and also helped us make a few changes to our family room (widening doorways, removing a wall, taking down a decorative beam). She was great to work with every step of the way, always coming with ideas based on what we wanted, bringing samples for us to look at or meeting us at show rooms to check out counter tops, flooring, and tile. She is mindful of your budget but will also tell you where it is best to splurge in order to get the look you want without it looking cheap. She wasn't pushy and didn't make us feel forced to go with an option that she liked which I felt many other did, but instead always worked with us even if at times she had to help us see why our idea wasn't the best...this is why I recommend a designer, they think of things you didn't even know you needed to consider, from matching metal finishes on fixtures and appliances, to the color of grout for the floor and back splash, wanting just enough contrast between the counter and floor so they weren't competing....who knows how our kitchen would have turned out without her. We now have our dream kitchen that we get so many compliments on, I can't say enough good things about Adrienne and her part in our creation.

AMD Interiors and Adrienne earn my highest praise. Being my first time working with a design professional, I was hesitant about whether my style could be captured; my worry was quickly put to rest. I couldn't be more pleased with the results. She stayed within budget, suggested materials and touches that I would have never thought of myself and was timely in both communication and delivery of final product. Even after the initial large project, I am able to continue adding to my home updates as budget allows. Hiring a professional was the best decision, and I will continue to use and recommend AMD for all my design needs.

We worked with Adrienne of AMD Interiors on a project in La Jolla. I really enjoyed working with her. She had great ideas, was easy to work with and communicated well with our mutual client and us. As a landscape contractor our dealings with interior designers is often fleeting or competing with ideas for the outside spaces. Adrienne had great ideas, communicated them well, listened, and even implemented some on her own. I look forward to having more opportunities to work with her again.

Adrienne and I met as a result of an article in San Diego Home and Garden featuring my custom furniture-making business. She approached me with designs for several pieces of teak furniture for a home in La Jolla that had a very distinct Asian design throughout. She designed different pieces of furniture that had to meet both a specific design aesthetic but needed to be highly functional as well. We worked together on the actual construction methodologies while staying focused on the customers' desire to maintain high function and design integrity throughout the home. Adrienne was easy and fun to work with, highly inventive, and professional. I was impressed that she never lost sight of the customers' goals, rather than allowing physics and material limitations to change execution of the project. Her finished work was spectacular and is being featured in SD Home and Garden Magazine in the next month or two. I look forward to our next project.

I would work with Adrienne again in a heartbeat and recommend her for projects big and small. We were a bit intimidated about working with a "designer", a new experience for us. But after meeting 4 other designers - who all had wonderful initial back-of-the-envelope ideas - only Adrienne was ALL of the following: creative (with solutions for small and grand scale problems), very quick/timely, patient, low key, personable, and knowledgeable about local resources. She guided both high and low end budget solutions, deftly negotiated style compromises between myself and my husband (!) and worked well with the contractors.

She was always on time on our meeting. She was very creative and knowledgeable of the products. I would highly recommend her!

I have been doing business with Adrienne for 5 years as her salesman for flooring and as an Installer of some of her projects. She has always been very professional in both areas. Installing the flooring of some of her projects I have seen 1st hand her great eye for design. She always goes above and beyond what's expected of her. A few months ago I was on a huge hardwood floor installation of my own and the customer asked my opinion on a couple design options she had in mind. I called Adrienne and sent her a few pictures of what we were trying to do .By the time I got to my office the next day she had emailed me sketch's and diagrams of the project with her recommendations free of charge. My customer loved what she had done and we went with what Adrienne had recommended. I refer Adrienne every chance I get because I know my customers will be well taken care of.

I've been working with Adrienne for about 8 months now. She is not only an excellent designer but she also listens, works extremely hard, is patient, thoughtful and kind. I can't say enough good things about this girl!!!

AMD Interiors has designed our master bathroom, master bedroom, entire kitchen, family room, powder room and also helped in choosing furnishings, finishes, lighting, and materials.
