We have used Bob for designs on many projects. Bob is very knowledgeable about many types of architecture and keeping up with ever changing code regulations. He is always prompt with responses, explains everything clearly and has a lot of patience when it comes to changes and questions.

I’ve hired Bob for two projects so far and have been very pleased with his work! First project was a large garage and the second was an attached addition with projected finish date 6/23. Bob is very easy to work with and has great communication skills. He has an excellent ability to create your ideas into reality.

In my experience with BHJR Designs, which spans 7 years and covers the complete ground up design of two houses, I've found Bob to conduct his business in a very professional manner in all respects. His subject knowledge, attention to detail, reliability and responsiveness have all been excellent. He even surprises me at times, recalling a detail from an earlier project that I over-looked.... and it's my house! Bob keeps up with current trends, products, buidling regulations and who's who in the various trades, all of which, are helpful from a design and guidance standpoint. His pricing is reasonable and I believe the fees I've paid have been money well-spent. Lastly, probably the most important aspect of business relationship is integrity. Very rewarding and enjoyable experience working with Bob Howard Jr. Drafting & Design. As hard and challenging designing a home can be, Bob made it a fun experience along with a professional touch. The 3d design made it come to life before our eyes. The final design was spot on. We came to Bob with a short time line and he promptly got us underway into our construction.

Bob was a pleasure to work with. He gave us an estimate on the amount of time required to complete his design and was good to his word. When we asked for modifications his response was let me figure out how to it, and it was done . It's not often that you can find some one that is willing to work with you not just for you.

Bob was easy to work with and did a wonderful job designing our camp. He was helpful, efficient, timely and approachable. He works during hours when we are home and were able to work with him after our work day. He does most of his work by e mail but was also happy to consult with us on the phone. I explained to Bob what my wife and I had in mind for a complicated downstairs remodel that involved changing a family room into a bedroom; putting in a laundry room in the garage to make more room in an existing bathroom, as well as new heating/AC possibilities. Bob's experience in building and design allowed him to ask me question regarding the remodel designs that I never would have thought about. He explained every part of his designs to me, and made the final plans clear with General Notes and Scope of Work for the contractor that we eventually hire to do this work. Bob's attention to detail during this process was impressive. I have already recommended Bob to a co-worker.

We hired Bob to design a 2 1/2 story garage with loft that would compliment our existing waterfront house. Bob did an excellent job and provided a high quality product.. I utilized Bob , on our home renovation project. Bob meet all of our requests and provided us with our project drawings for the building department and my contractor use. Bob also was involved in the scope review process with my contractors at the start of the project. He helped us with the planning board when we discovered , after we started the project ,the location for our shed was not acceptable. Bob was always available to respond to questions during the process.

Bob did a great job on our plans and listened to what our needs were. also his knowledge of current building codes helped with our decisions and avoided delays.
