James was absolutely outstanding to work with. We found a way to take our sweet time and put James through the ringer of change after change, and never once did we feel even the slightest bit of impatience or feel rushed at any point. His creativity is unparalleled and his ideas were instrumental in helping us design our dream home. He found a way to see our vision with very little to go on and turned our basic descriptions into works of art. His responsiveness could rival the world’s best concierges. There were times I would email James from a different time zone expecting James to be asleep, and I would get a response back within 15 minutes at 2am, 3am, 4am his time. I of course discouraged him from doing that, and hope he has done so to protect his health, but that was just his style. He was out to deliver the best experience imaginable and made sure we came away as raving fans of his work. He is a true artist. I could not reccomended him more highly. Finding James and Driftwood Home Design was an absolute blessing and working with him was one of the most exceptional experiences I have ever had. He was very attentive, very helpful, extremely professional and patient and more accomplished in his field than you could imagine. His expertise in design and functionality was exactly what we needed having never been involved in the design of a home. James has an amazing ability to put all of our thoughts and concepts into a full design and to see it come to life was so much fun. He was able to computerize our plans as well as converting them to a VR format so that you can do a very realistic walk through of your final design. I can't say enough good about Driftwood Home Design. They are amazingly creative, and their floor plans are absolutely livable. As a builder the things we appreciate most are, first, how Driftwood treats our clients. They always come back pleased and excited about their design. Second, how buildable Driftwood plans are. Drawing a house that is not only beautiful and livable, but also buildable is a true art. These guys are the real thing, and we are grateful to work with them.

We were referred to James by a High End Contracting Company (and we didn't use this company after all) and he scored a homerun with our work. Though our project is not High End, it is a custom home with some above average expense and so working with James to meet our wants and t o realize our expectations was an exceptional process. He has a great ear for listening, he has a tremendous personality of helping you and he has clarity for explaining things to the owner for good understanding. In fact my biggest compliment is just that. He became a confidant as we explored, experimented, and finalized .... only to come back and make revisions that aligned better with our budget. Oh such patience and calmness in his professionalism. Just reach out to him and have that initial conversation and you will understand what I have appreciated about him, his business and his product. Now we will start the building phase and it will be rewarding to see it come together.

Designing a home can be complex. James completely understood what we wanted and worked diligently to fit everything in, creating a beautiful design, while strictly following our HOA guidelines.
