My wife and I purchased a tear down home in 2020. With assistance from Matt, we tore down the existing home, determined the vision, and set out on a journey to design a custom home. We truly wanted something unique and after meeting with several designers we selected Matt. Matt was a resource that throughout the entire process helped us to turn our vision into reality. With expertise, patience, and wisdom he worked with our General Contractor and together they guided us through a truly collaborative effort. From initial layout to final selection of materials his knowledge helped us to design a home that will truly stand the test of time. Matt is an amazing home designer who was fun to work with and did a great job designing our custom home. He was with us every step of the way. We really appreciated his CAD expertise and his ability to make changes quickly so we could see the impact. We made several significant changes along the way....added a cathedral ceiling in one room, changed the ceiling in the foyer, raised the roof, moved the elevator, etc. Each time we were able to quickly see the impact on the design and move forward knowing we were on the right track. It was extremely helpful to see 2D and 3D renderings of the house, individual rooms and design details within rooms. The builder had several questions along the way while the house was being built, and Matt was very responsive with the answers, which helped keep us on schedule. We absolutely love our home and can't believe what we saw on paper actually became a reality. We'd definitely use Matt again.

Matt did an incredible job designing our home. My wife and I had a concept we liked, and I had sketched out some elements that were important to the overall look and feel of the home. Trying to design our forever home took some time, research and legwork. Matt was extremely patient with us. We had ideas that we liked but didn't know how to put all of them together, especially when I'm a visual person. Starting with an idea of a one-story home with a partial basement became a two-story home with a partial basement and we wouldn't change a thing today. Matt had some of the latest and greatest ideas to suggest as well as timeless ideas that never go out of style. He also worked extremely well with our builder which is important. We love our home!
