James and his team are timely, quick, responsive to changes, and better than competitively priced. James was able to revamp ideas when budget constraints appeared, and helped to make our project feel like no expense was spared. There isn't a single space in our addition/remodel of our mid-century styled home that isn't more functional and beautiful, while still maintaining strong roots to our home's original 1960s era personality. James and his team were able to lay the foundation of a gallery-centric living space into a lovely open concept, while maintaining privacy and outside views. We would recommend James, highly, to anyone looking. Many of our neighbors watch daily progress and ask for his contact info. As scary as this process has been for a me, I feel that James put us on a trail of success which I'll be forever grateful.

James is a true professional.. He has a refined talent to be able to work with all kinds of personalities in clients and subcontractors. He is extremely creative in his design and you can expect a signature style somewhere in a clients designs. I respect James and his creativity. I have done many projects with James L. Carroll & Associates which have included everything from custom home designs and extensive remodels to retail shop build outs. During the course of these projects I have found James to be an extremely talented and creative architect who really listens to his client and has an uncanny ability to bring vague ideas to fruition. His knowledge of new products and trends in the industry is extensive and he seems always to be expanding upon it.
