I truly can’t recommend Kelsey enough! From start to finish, her professionalism, intelligence, design sense, and ability to recreate our home to a more functional space for our family, was amazing. She provided us with guidance to create an amazing remodel. She helped us figure out what we wanted, and supported us with design choices that would be best for our family and space. Her communication was great and timely. I would recommend Kelsey to anyone looking for an architect to help them on their building or remodel journey! Kelsey at KD Project Design was the most thorough and detail oriented designer we have ever worked with. In fact, she helped with 2 separate projects (one locally and one in a different city). Kelsey started our kitchen project from the beginning and made sure every detail was completed, no matter how long it took. Kelsey brought her creative design style (beautiful wallpaper and paint colors, metal bar doors) to our project along with the attention to detail of every measurement and architectural detail. She is always organized, great at follow up and her communication helped in times when she needed to be the liaison between our cabinet company and our builder. I wish I could've taken more off of her plate, but she handled things seamlessly. Our next project is our master bathroom, which is a challenging space. I have had a few designers to see the project over the years, but Kelsey is the only person that had a solution for the unusual space. We will absolutely work with Kelsey in the future and feel so fortunate to have her expertise.

I cannot say enough good things about working with Kelsey. We just finished remodeling our entire house and she brought so many great ideas to the table. She was receptive to our thoughts (and made them better), and transformed our house - all while staying within the same footprint. Her ideas on reconfiguring rooms were exceptional - I don't know how we gained space without moving any exterior walls! Kelsey was always very professional - on time, communicative, and followed-up on the status of our project over the many months our contractor was working, even though "her part" was complete. I absolutely recommend Kelsey for any project - you will not regret it!

We were looking to take our kitchen and living area from an ugly 1964 to the beautiful modern space we had dreamed of and we had no clue where to start. We had a good idea what we wanted, but had no experience with major renovations. Kelsey was an absolute godsend! We loved her personality from the start. She's pleasant, personable and professional and was able to steer us from making some questionable choices that, in the end, were the best advice! She showed us how we could use the space differently and pointed out some things we hadn't thought of. Then she created a layout and helped us find some great service providers, from locally manufactured cabinets to countertop fabricators that were reliable and did wonderful work and was invaluable when it came to sourcing tile and countertops. In the end, we're over the moon with how the space came out. Love Love Love it! I would recommend Kelsey in a heartbeat.

Working with Kelsey was amazing from start to finish! She was creative and practical, found amazing solutions and transformed a truly horrible layout into a graceful and functional home. She had solutions to problems I hadn’t even thought of. She’s always kind, responsive, and on top of it. I could not recommend her highly enough! One thing that was particularly important to me is that she approached my home from a perspective of functional use for a family. She has kids herself and understood that things like noise level mitigation were important. She didn’t sacrifice function for form, but the end result is truly graceful and beautiful. I liked that She was responsive to my needs/opinions and never let ego get in the way. She was never defensive , always responsive and respectful. She’s truly a pleasure to work with. KD Project Design exceeded our expectations. We had a clunky, unimaginable first floor layout and transition from kitchen to living room. We knew when we purchased our home that it was awkward and an eye sore but could not wrap our heads on how to make it functional and aesthetically pleasing. Kelsey has been great to work with. Starting our first ever reno project, we were not sure what to expect and she walked us through the process seemlessly, connected us with amazing contractors and vendors and was extremely helpful with her time to discuss and give thoughtful feedback on changes as needed. This last year we worked with Kelsey Nichols on a complicated and major renovation/addition to our mid-century home. The outcome was beyond our expectations and we could not be more thrilled. Kelsey is a best-in-class architect with vision, creative superpowers and a resourcefulness that puts her in league of her own. Her command of the entire process, from big picture ideation to final executional details made the process as stress-free as it possibly could be. It was such a relief to work with someone with a definitive point of view and excellent taste in interior design concepts as well as landscape design. Her constant communication with the general contractor and all of the subs kept the project moving and on budget and her understanding of unique materials made many work-arounds possible and solutions appear when we couldn't see them. Kelsey helped create our dream house and made the process fun- she is an absolute joy to work with.

Kelsey did an amazing job helping us remodel the entire first floor of our home. She was extremely patient and knowledgeable about every detail throughout the entire process. Unfortunately, we had a few issues with different trades people and Kelsey worked above and beyond on our behalf to ensure the other trades took care of the problem. In the end the results were beyond what we could have asked for. We will definitely work with Kelsey again in the future to complete the remodel of our master bathroom. She is a true pleasure to work with.

Kelsey did an incredible job helping me to redesign my master bathroom to the most beautiful and elegant space. She was very patient throughout the entire process and really took the time to get into my style based on the few ideas I had in my head and the style of my house in general. Everything she recommended complimented the overall look and I could not be happier with the finished product.
