Whiteley & Whiteley Design Group Inc. knocked this floor plan out of the park! David went out of his way to ensure our clients were completely satisfied with their beautiful dream home before we began the building process. They are exceptional listeners, knowledgeable and thorough! We are so thankful to have a team like Whiteley & Whiteley on our side as Custom Home Builders. This 4/4.5 home is located in the beautiful neighborhood of BlueJack National in Montgomery, Texas. The sleek, modern style of the home is softened by the natural surrounding found in this neighborhood. We are so appreciative of David’s talents! He makes our company look top notch every time!

This project involved the design of a house to fit on a very irregular lot (very narrow front, wide and angled rear with one side straight and the other side at an angle) and meeting certain criteria. David showed a lot of patience in working through all of the problems to coming up with a design. We are very happy with the final design.

David has helped with several communities that I work with on the designs of homes and the review of applications for construction. I would recommend this company for your home design and guidance. David has designed my personal home, and we can't wait to have it built!

I am telling you David and Diane are the best. Professional, Customer Service at the top of the chart. Went to them not knowing what we wanted exactly. We told David we wanted an open concept Barndominuim with 4 beds and 31/2 baths and he made it happen. Our place is stunning. Design is amazing. He added our home to the existing barn. Now we live within a 120 ft by 60ft barn. From the outside looks like a big red barn. Inside what a gem!! Love them and love our home!

David has designed two houses for my family, we have loved them both. He is up to date on the latest trends and styles. He has been great to work with despite us not knowing exactly what we wanted

David was very professional and able to take our ideas and put them into our design. We routinely have people stop and take pictures of our home and also get countless comments about the design and how unique it is. Can't thank David enough for his help in making our dream home come true.

My wife and I interviewed several remodeling contractors before we met Diane and David Whiteley. We could tell from our first meeting that it was going to be a good fit. We took them on a tour of the house and pointed out the areas we wanted to be changed and updated. We could see their minds working. The Whiteley's then, sat with us and explained their vision, room by room. They used the word 'transformation' to describe what they had in mind. We really appreciated their hands-on approach. This included, accompanying us, to the tile, granite, plumbing, hardware, lighting and appliance suppliers to make selections. Diane has a talent for looking at colors and patterns that coordinated. She was also at the work site, overseeing the project. David laid out the kitchen and bath and family room reconfigurations to maximize space and functionality. His plans, dramatically, updated the look and feel of those areas. The remodeling project took on a second phase when we moved to the back patio. Our house is on the water and has a beautiful view of Lake Conroe. Unfortunately, the patio was a real eye sore and was not a place that we could enjoy, much less entertain on. The Whiteley's studied the patio layout and came up with ideas for a complete transformation (there's that word again). The final product far exceeded our expectations and was the envy of neighbors. We highly recommend Whiteley and Whiteley for any interior or exterior remodeling project.

We are delighted with our new master bathroom designed by Whiteley & Whiteley. From the design phase to the execution of the project, David and Diane's expertise, professionalism and attention to detail were exceptional. Whiteley and Whiteley's balanced focus on quality design and functionality met our needs perfectly. We are proud of the space that David and Diane uniquely created with our home project. Whiteley & Whiteley are exemplary designers who have become trusted friends over the course of this project.

Diane and David were awesome to work with on remodeling our master bath. They transformed it from a 1984 bathroom to a beautiful and updated room that we just love. Diane went out of her way to make certain we were happy with all stages of the remodel. The entire room was demolished which included removing the bathtub; moving the vanity from one side of the room to the other; replacing all the tile from the floor and shower; removing linen closet and cabinets. We now have the most gorgeous bathroom with a shower that we love, custom made wardrobe, linen closet and vanity with beautiful granite countertops, new lighting, gorgeous tile and a remodel of the closet. We love our new bathroom and can't say enough good things about Whiteley and Whiteley! We would highly recommend Diane and David for your new remodeling project.

Your team's knowledge if structure, design and of how to get things done was and is impressive. And you are just fun to work along-side. I chose Whiteley and Whiteley for the remodel of the "Escondido" home for two main reasons. First, their reputation precedes them. It was obvious from the first meeting they would be my contractor. They listened intently to my requirements and immediately had suggestions to better the end result. Secondly, you occasionally get a premonition (some say a gut feeling) that this team belongs here. That premonition turned out to be absolutely founded. The planning stage was smooth and understandable to the lay person, with thoughtfulness and professionalism not often seen. The Whiteleys were clear and concise with drawings, cost, and work schedules. I found the "Whiteley Way" to fit my needs perfectly. From demo to finish, scheduling was flawless and each and every subordinate contractor was a true artisan. If minor issues arose, they were handled quickly and efficiently. It was amazing to watch this team carry out the plan with an an almost uncanny ability to "think on their feet". While cudos go to the craftsmen, the highest accolades must go to Diane and David for assembling the best of the best, and leading this project to fruition. I'll leave the "Before and After" photos to speak for themselves, but the true result of this project is so much more than that. I got a beautiful remodel, peace of mind as to its structural integrity and longevity, but most importantly a bevy of new friends, never to be forgotten.

Whiteley & Whiteley redesigned the kitchen island at our home. The redesign created a cut down of the step-up counter. The new design is a flat surface island with much more useable space for food preparation, entertaining buffet style, and the kitchen is now large in appearance. In addition, Whiteley & Whiteley assisted with the choosing of a fabulous piece of granite to replace the old and suggested an espresso stain that beautifully compliments the granite piece and both are wonderful compliments to the other cabinets and granite counters not redesigned. Out kitchen seems larger, more useable space, looks brighter and updated! In addition to the creativity of the design, Whiteley & Whiteley knew the appropriate craftsmen to do the work. I used Whiteley & Whiteley for my new home design, David was very knowledgeable of the design criteria the subdivision required and designed a unique home that complemented its surroundings. I found David to be punctual and respect both David and Diane's passion for design, quality of construction and customer care.

I hired them to do drawings for a remodel project on my home. Initially everything went ok, they were quick to respond over the phone, set up an appointment, and the pricing was fair. The appointment was not great, but the real dissappointment was that once I received the drawings. They took 3 weeks longer to get than he had initially promised and then he had ignored 5 items that I had requested and redrew them to what he thought was best. Specifically, I had told him I wanted a separate bath tub and shower in the master bath. During the appointment he mentioned that many of his clients don't use their tubs and are opting for a larger shower space. I repeatedly told him that I used a bath tub and wanted both a tub and a shower, but when I received the drawings I had a 6'x6' shower and no tub. Since he messed up on so many items I felt like he didn't listen at all in our initial appointment and we had to keep requesting revisions from him. But the most frustrating part is that when we actually had to remodel. He had incorrectly drawn the plans accounting for 2 extra feet on one side of the home, but not the other. I'm not sure if he just initially wrote down the wrong measurements, or if he wrote them wrong on the plans, but we had to in the field rework the bathroom, utility room, master closet, and garage entry! Then we had to explain to every trade that came through our home that the architect we hired didn't accurately measure the home. Thank God my trades could read measurements better than this architect, a complete frustration and waste of money.

David and Diane Whiteley created a perfect home for us. From incorporating our ideas in the architectural design phase; to helping us make stunning and functional interior choices; through coordinating landscape and pool design, they brought our dream to life. We were true partners, with the Whiteley's expertise enhancing our ideas for creating a comfortable lake home and guest house that maximized efficiencies and used "green" building concepts. During our year-long construction project, we were kept up to date on schedule and next steps. When possible scope changes arose, we talked through them to determine the most effective course of action. We moved into the house earlier than expected, and stayed on budget. Since completion, David and Diane have been both proactive about checking in and responsive when questions have come up. Working with the Whiteley's was a terrific experience. They truly bring their creativity, skills, and hearts into all the work they do.

We first started our work relationship with Whiteley & Whiteley during the Fall of 2012. We had just moved to the area and needed some guidance picking colors and furniture for our new home. Diane would listen to my ideas and find a way to implement them while adding a designer touch. In the end, the finished product was perfection. So naturally, two years later, when we decided to add an addition to our home, we knew exactly who to call. As before, Dianne and David listened to our ideas, and soon a plan was in place to transform our backyard. They custom built our outdoor living space, picking colors, material, patterns, lights, and so much more. In the end, we were absolutely overly pleased. This company is loyal to their word, always prefessional , and a joy to work with. They will go above and beyond, so that in the end you are overwhelmingly pleased.

We asked Whiteley and Whiteley to come back and convert our attic to the ultimate leisure space, because they did such a quality custom job building our home. Their experience, knowledge and wonderful relationship with their subcontractors made the experience positive and engaging. Their design and vision for the spacre resulted in a Billard room and seperate movie theater that went beyond our expectations and imagination. We couldn't have worked with a better team. Whiteley & Whiteley designed and remodeled our kitchen, as well as designed and constructed our living room and bedroom ramps. The project was completed in a little over a week with minimal inconvenience. This project was professionally done and the end result was a complete transformation from modern to an Asian design. Charlie & I started with a clean sheet of paper, a lot filled with hardwoods &, concluded with a Country French home of our dreams that is nestled among the trees, with a pool that looked like it had sprouted from roots. A Casita, where our guests can stay, which have all the luxuries of home. There are multiple outdoor spaces for the two of us or friends to gather. The design has met all of our wants, & needs even exceeding our expectations. Diane & David were a pleasure to work with through all aspects of the journey. We were nervous to remodel our daughter’s bathroom to accommodate her new wheelchair but it had to be done. We chose to work with Whiteley and Whiteley because of their genuine interest in improving not just a bathroom, but our lives. From David’s thoughtful design to Diane’s attention to detail, nothing was overlooked. We were updated daily on progress and what to expect next.
