We were looking for a DIY Pizza oven project last year on Houzz.com and came across Brickwood Ovens pictures again and again. We ordered the larger grande pizza oven kit and everything was delivered quickly and without any issues, so we started off on the right foot. The project went together smoothly and the directions and materials list were dead-on. The foam was hard to get out, but it came out in a 4 large chunks in about 15 minutes. My kids and I use the oven non-stop, it has been a great investment.

I knew I wanted a brick oven for my backyard after seeing one at a tradeshow. Then came the countless hours of researching ovens online - the different styles, the different construction materials and not to mention the hundreds of different opinions about pizza ovens. It seems like EVERYBODY had an opinion to share. I chose BrickWood Ovens as their system worked best for me.. not only was it WAY under my allotted budget, but I was able to build the oven my way (I'm very OCD when constructing something). Needless to say, it was very easy to build and I absolutely LOVE my finished BrickWood Oven! I've had it for over three years now and it keeps getting better and better. It's the Rockstar of the neighborhood!

Great product. The foam mold worked great. The only thing I might be worried about would be the joints being a bit too large. Maybe they could make the mortar joints tighter because i'm afraid that the joints will crack from the heat and may crumble into the oven. I was able to take out the form in one piece. I did move the legs out about 4" before I built the rear wall to make it easier to pull the legs out. The square chimney form did not come out easily. I had to smash the Styrofoam to get it out. That made a bit of a mess. The directions were great as well. Easy for anyone to build.
