After 5 years, the metal "Eco Mesh Green Screens" installed on a parking garage were severely rusting at the weld joints of the clips/brackets and along some of the framing tubes and channels. It was found that the brackets were delayed and welded at McNichols’ factory after the frames were galvanized. The bracket welds were covered with a can of galvanizing spray. Typically, the brackets are installed, and all welding completed before the entire frame assembly is galvanized. Unfortunately, McNichols refused to stand behind its work, citing that their warranty was only for 2 years. We sent them a claim letter. Their response back to us was that they will not respond to the claim unless we filed a lawsuit.

Our company has used McNichols for at least 10 years now and have never had any issues with their products. Their customer service has always been helpful and knowledgable. They have so many options and variations that finding a way to incorporate their metal products in our client's projects simplifies our design process. We are always creating unique furnishings for commercial and residential settings and enjoy turning such industrial looking material into something functional and timeless. Highly recommend this company and their services.
