This review is specific to Bob and his exceptional above and beyond customer service skills. I decided to paint an accent wall in my apartment...which eventually led to me repainting the entire place. The first day I walked into Tashman Hardware Store I was greeted by Bob. I let Bob know the project I was working on and he immediately got me all items I needed for my project. I was at the hardware store every SINGLE day of my project and Bob was always there to help and offered some great tips. Bob is the nicest, kindest, most awesome, knowledgeable person ever. Every hardware store needs a Bob for people like me who are new to home projects and think that they can paint an entire apartment in one weekend. Bob - Thank you so much for making 2020 a better year!! 5 stars does not do justice.. you need a million goal Stars!!

Tashmans and I have a long standing in the design trade. I use Tashmans for all my projects that need windows and doors. They are very reliable, knowledgeable regarding suggestions of products, great to work with, and give excellent service. Work ethics and scheduling a plus. I had the pleasure to work with Kenny and his family designing their personal kitchen.(see deZign services inc on Houzz, Sherman Oaks kitchen) I executed the design and space planning and with their own good taste selected the cabinet design and excellent choice of colors and materials. They have worked on my house also, adding doors and windows. Here here! I wouldn't hire anyone else.

I upgraded the doors and windows in my master bedroom and used Tashman's to both source the material and perform the installation. As with all projects, there were unexpected things that popped up. But the Tashman team dealt with them handily and without involving me. I was especially impressed by the installation team, George and Lucas, who were extremely knowledgeable, attentive to detail, personable and professional. They really went the proverbial extra mile and did excellent work. I will definitely use Tashman's again for future projects.

Tashman has done two jobs for me this year. First, he replaced the screen door and screen in my 1930's guest house. Nothing in the house is square, but the screen door opens and closes even when the humidity changes the size and shape of the door frame. Most recently, Tashman replaced my front windows in my daughters' bedrooms. The house was built in 1911 and, like the guest house, nothing is square, standard sized or even. In less than six hours the two guys replaced the windows. The new ones work beautifully (unlike the old ones) and look very similar to what was replaced. Because the house is in an historic district, this was very important to us. I have other window projects that need doing and look forward to working with this company again.

With only two weeks to replace some large custom-size sliding screens at a property we manage, I called Tashman for help. They were prompt to reply, quick to bid, fast and efficient in making the screens within my time constraints. The installation was smooth and stress-free. I will not hesitate to call Tashman again for another project.

Tashman Home Center installed my soundproof Citiquiet windows. All of the staff at Tashman's is highly knowledgable and wonderful to work with. Lucia, Leslie, Kenny, and Bert were great. I had so many questions during the planning phase. and they eagerly answered all of them. They even got the frames powder coated to the color that I wanted. I have a very difficult work schedule and they were eager to work within my timeframe. Everyone I dealt with was very professional and friendly. One of my windows had to be relocated out by 4 inches. It was a very difficult job. The employee, Tony, who handled that part of the job has 26 years experience with windows and it took that level of experience to figure out what needed to be done. He did an excellent job. The entire installation crew was very professional. I have been living in my loft in Downtown LA for the past 8 years at one of the busiest intersections in the city. With bars, restaurants, and revelers, it's like living in the middle of a wild party in traffic. The windows were installed on Friday and that night was the first night I slept in 8 years. I had waited to install the windows because I believed that they were a luxury. They are not a luxury, they are a necessity for my health. I have not regretted my decision. I would highly recommend them.

Tashman Home Center is the place to go to get screen doors and new windows. Being that they are one of the only suppliers who carry sound proofing windows in Los Angeles, we gladly refer them to our clients who have the window treatments but who need their windows to really block out the noise in addition to our window treatments! This is a huge huge benefit for the client and Tashman Home Center is the place to go for this! We love that they are too, a family owned and run business like ours. Kenny and his team are professional, honest and get the job done right. We highly recommend their services!
