“Sonrise Construction designed and added a 1500 square foot, two-story addition to our existing 2200 square foot Arts and Crafts style home. The original structure was built in 1923, and one of our major objectives was to match the new construction to the old part of the house. Both inside and out, Sonrise exceeded our expectations with their ability to blend old and new. Windows, doors, sidings and trims were all sourced and matched to the original materials.
Also as part of our project, Sonrise re-roofed our entire home and retrofit central air conditioning into the original section of our house. The sub-contractors under them were top notch, and everyone was very adaptable to changes that we wanted or needed to make during the construction process. We had heard good things about Sonrise prior to working with them, and we were not disappointed.”

“After interviewing a number of builders for my custom designed home, I selected Curtis Graff of Graf Custom Construction. My decision to do so was based on extensive research into the type of home I had designed and their familiarity with the newest technology.
Throughout the project planning, Curtis Graf invested significant time in helping me evaluate the variety of solutions for HVAC, insulation, windows, foundation and other critical components of the available material and construction techniques.
I had consulted with other builders that were not interested or willing to discuss these options with me, and basically told me how they planned to build my home, and didn't seem too concerned in what I wanted to purchase.
The Graf crew are remarkable. Many of folks working on my home were direct employees and not subcontractors. Curtis Graf was usually on site and got his hands dirty. I had spoken to some builders who never do any work themselves, and I believe that Graf has the right approach.
In conclusion, I am delighted with the quality of the home I received and the consideration and attitude of the entire team. They are very responsive to minor issues, even after being paid! I would do some things differently if I were ever to build another home, but would definitely hire this company.”

“I can't say enough good things about Steve Ott. But I can start with the most important thing - he is honest. In contrast to an industry that is infamous for dishonest people, Steve has always treated us with integrity. The best example of this is when we had a few issues emerge several weeks after the project was complete. Steve sent his team to resolve the issues in a timely manner at no cost to us.
The next most important thing - the project was completed within the upper range of the original time estimate and within 15% of our original budget estimate (that includes unforeseen issues/expenses). Most people say their projects go WAY passed the timeline and WAY over budget. That's never been our experience with Steve (going back to my point about him being honest...he works really hard to get you the REAL price up front. He doesn't deflate the price to get the business and find a lot of "ad ons" throughout the project).
Finally, Steve insists on quality. If something isn't done well, he will do it again. He did not like how the subcontractors installed our fireplace stone, so he personally came and laid the stone.”
