Eddie is the best!! Our cabinets are beautiful. I highly recommend him if you are looking to have a quality job done. He is a perfectionist and when you see his work you will understand this. Plus, he is so pleasant to have around. Would definitely hire him again!!!

Eddie is a wonderful person to work with and is truly an artisan at his craft. He built a beautiful bar for our kitchen which has become a true focal point in our home. He was very responsive and available throughout the project. We are already planning to use him for a few more projects in the future.

Eddie and his team did an excellent job on our custom kitchen inset cabinetry. After countless interviews with other cabinet makers I didn't get the sense of trust they could take on the project until I met Eddie (Most tried to convince us to stick with the traditional overlay design seen in most kitchens). He explained all the facets such a project would necessitate and communicated the steps needed along the way. Inset cabinetry takes a skilled craftsman to make it look correct and work, and Altowood went above and beyond to make sure all the details were covered. The end result being a true work of art. Would recommend them to anyone looking to have high end cabinetry work done at a reasonable price.

I recommend Altowood without reservation. They have completed 3 projects for me. All have been completed on time with excellent results. Eddie provided a detailed quote with drawings. His design ideas were incorporated into the projects with excellent results. They refaced a long hallway of cabinets that now look brand new. In my master bath he configured an entirely new layout of cabinets that turned out beautifully. If the opportunity presents itself, I will use Altowood again.

Altowood was really amazing. We contacted them after a difficult experience with a contractor who did shoddy work, and the process was such a welcome change in comparison. We called, and connected right away. The bid was fast. The drawn plans arrived on time. We had a project schedule and the cabinets were done on cue. Eddie was insightful, professional, and truly a craftsman. The work was superb. Communication was excellent throughout. The cabinets came out beautifully. I would absolutely recommend Altowood, and have no reservations whatsoever. Definitely engage Altowood if you're looking for something unique, handcrafted, and really well-done.

Altowood was designing, building and installing our new kitchen. They worked with us during the entire process. During the design phase we had a lot of productive interactions and developed solutions to optimize the functionality and to meet our style. When they build the kitchen, we could visit their shop and see the material and the progress. They kept their timeline as we had negotiated. The quality of the workmanship was outstanding. Then they did the installation in a short time but without compromising on the quality. The result is an outstanding kitchen which met and exceeded our expectations. Ed and Fernando at Altowood did an amazing job on my custom cabinetry in my new kitchen. The quality and attention to detail and installation were perfect. It has been nearly 2 years since they installed them and they look like new. They also made a custom carved island for me that is a beautiful piece of furniture that cost a los less than it would have been to go with one of the other large companies here in San Diego. Highly recommend you use these guys if you don't want some generic mass-produced cabinets, and you'll be surprised how reasonable they are for the quality they provide.

Altowood built all of our cabinets and island in our kitchen remodel. Many pieces were hand-carved and the finishes are perfect!
