Jeff Faine was born and raised on 2nd Avenue in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Introduced to woodworking at an early age by his father, Jeff developed a true passion for furniture building during his high school and college years. He spent the majority of his youth perfecting his craft in his father’s backyard woodshop. After receiving a Bachelors of Science degree in Construction Engineering from Iowa State University and LEED Accreditation in 2009, Jeff relocated to Denver, Colorado. Avenuetwo:design was founded in March 2010. The business currently operates in a 3000 square foot shop in Lakewood, CO. When he’s not designing or building furniture, Jeff can be found hiking, reading, attending concerts, or traveling.
