Canyon Creek Cabinet Company

We purchased our cabinets through Canyon Creek Cabinet Company. We were very happy with the whole process! The cabinets are beautiful and were delivered on the day promised in perfect condition. We will recommend this company to friends and family.

I went with Canyon Creek for my kitchen cabinets because they were local and had a good reputation. Given my experience, I have to advise against anyone using them right now. They are having horrible quality control and production issues and one out of every two of my cabinets had something wrong with them. As the contractor and I unboxed them, the joke became that they only thing that they got right was the color. Some were minor issues (ex. paint) but most were head-scratching/how-did-this get-shipped errors like cabinets built upside down or doors mounted on the wrong side. There were cabinets that were supposed to be drawers had doors. The shaker front drawers had slab fronts. The Upper shelf bracket holes were drilled at different levels (a real issue since they were open/glass front). The list was long but what was even more disappointing is how they responded to the errors. We were told we could reject them and wait an additional 12 weeks for new cabinets (which would have resulted in pushing all our sub-contractors and the project in total back - mind you we were a full remodel and down to the studs at this point) or they would just send us replacement parts to install ourselves. After a price analysis, I decided the labor of the reworking was cheaper than waiting 12 weeks and losing my sub-contractors and having to delay the project which meant extending rental agreements, etc. Little did I know that it would mean that I would be waiting an additional 6 MONTHS for the random drawer fronts and panels and components to come trickling in without rhyme, reason or any communication from Canyon Creek. All we were told when we emailed or called was there were "production issues". And because they required 100% of the payment up front, there was no recourse to hold back final payment. It honestly breaks my heart to write a review like this for a local company that had such a good reputation with such solid product in the past. I have come to understand talking with some insiders that they are under "new leadership" and have automated their production so it is not the hand-crafted cabinets of pre-2020. Buyers beware!

Not quality and 2 weeks late. Messed up countertop schedule and had so many returns because of fabrication. I talked with Jim and it sounds like they are overworked and under staffed. That resulted in poor quality cabinets.

I did a remodel in 2018. Unfortunately, the painted product does not hold up. Within 2 years, I have replaced several cabinet fronts in my kitchen and in my bathroom. I have white cabinets and they are also turning yellow. I was told by Canyon Creek that it is due to sun. But in the bathroom, there is a just a small window above the toilet that does not shine any on the cabinets, so there is no direct sun. In the kitchen, there is also no direct light that comes in as we have a covered area. I also have a lot of peeling and chipping of the paint. I sent them many pictures of all the cabinets not holding up, and they said it was normal wear and tear. I have one picture that is below a counter that is cracking...this area does not get any light or any use because it is under the counter and only a false drawer. They do not stand behind their products. We spent a lot of money on this remodel and they are not holding up with regular wear and tear. I am disappointed with their painting process, not standing behind their workmanship, and would not recommend putting in these cabinets unless you want to redo them in a few years.

So many issues with the paint and finish on these cabinets. I should have known when so many pieces had to be re-ordered during the install. In the three years since install, I've had many pieces replaced and now just noticed even more with defects. There is something wrong with the paint finishing process from Canyon Creek. I'm so bummed that I spent so much on a kitchen remodel to have it look so shabby already. I will not purchase this brand again.

We ordered Canyon Creek cabinets for the entire house and project total was almost $50K. There were many issues throughout the design process and actual cabinet received. Right now, we are dealing with the built in cabinet we ordered. Our contractor the 'built-in' microwave into the full-height cabinet and the constructed cabinet/microwave condition looks much different than your design drawing. Specifically, there is a large gap above and below the microwave. Canyon Creek's design shows the doors being flush - ie no gap between the microwave and the doors above/below. The designer obviously had microwave detail. When we contacted this issue to our designer, her/his response was “get a larger microwave” or “trim kit” to hide the gap. Very disappointing customer service experience.

We have been a dealer of Canyon Creek for over 20 years. They are wonderful to work with and always go above and beyond to help solve any issue or special request. They have a great product and stand behind it 100%. Love getting to work with such a great company who hire quality people.

I have worked with Canyon Creek for the past 6 years. They have the best paint finish on the market, and the inset cabinets are absolutely beautiful. I have used their budget friendly Katana line for multi-unit projects and on the other end of the spectrum we have created high-end one of kind projects with the help of their special products team. I would highly recommend them for any job big or small.

I just wrapped up another successful Canyon Creek project using the Katana Line. This is the second Katana kitchen this couple has bought and they couldn't be happier. As an installer I have yet to be disappointed by a Canyon Creek product. Thanks Again

I have been a dealer for Canyon Creek for almost 20 years. I have sold everything from custom cabinets to box cabinets. I have yet to find a better company to work with. I love the product, the service, and the brand. They stand behind the product better then any other company which in turn supports me as a dealer. I love the SPR custom option, if they don't have it in the "book" they can still make it for us. Mistakes can happen, it is how you deal with it that shows true character, and Canyon Creek shines!

After reading through these reviews it's clear that people are having trouble with their contractor, not with the actual cabinets! I have dealt with Canyon Creek Cabinet Company for quite some time. Their cabinets are known throughout the industry as high end and high quality. Their staff is friendly too. If quality is important to you, I recommend using these cabinets.

We purchased Beech Cornerstone cabinets with plywood cabinet boxes for our kitchen and pantry. They're beautiful and well made. It was nice to go with a local company with good environmental practices.
